At the heart of this audiobook is Senator Obama's vision of how we can move beyond our divisions to tackle concrete problems. Underlying his stories about family, friends, members of the Senate, and even the president is a vigorous search for connection: the foundation for a radically hopeful political consensus.
A senator and a lawyer, a professor and a father, a Christian and a skeptic, and above all a student of history and human nature, Senator Obama has written a book of transforming power.

"I am glad I voted for Obama"
After listening to Obama narrate his book I now understand how he has reached the place where he is...what a pleasure it was to hear him speak about so many different subjects with his unique, holistic approach. I can relate to his mother's philosophy of life and have a deeper appreciation of his sincere intention for being a global citizen. His Mother and Grandmother, I am sure, are proudly watching him from afar. Here Here to them, and to him for his courage to follow his heart and honor the women in his life. Keep it up President Barack Obama, and make all of the Mothers of the World proud of you. Thank you, Deborah in Woodstock, NY

"'The Audacity of Hope'"

"Can't stand to listen to his voice and his lies."
So...there you have it. I won't give him a cent of my money. If he isn't sent packing in 2012, I might need that cent.
God help us!!!

"Biased Opinion"
This short excerpt shows me why I can still safely hate Obama.
I would not personally enrich his pockets with my money by buying this book.
