What's more, she's just discovered that a certain arrogant master vampire has a geis on her - a magical claim that warns off any would-be suitors, and might also explain the rather intense attraction between them. But Cassie has had it with being jerked around, and anyone who tries it from now on is going to find out that she makes a very bad enemy.

"another good book"
If you liked the first book, Touch the Dark, you will love this one. Be warned, just as book one left you hanging at the end so will this one. I can't wait to get book three. Hopefully audible will have it soon or I will have to go get the dead tree version
"listen to the reviews!"
No one
No
I listen to books 2-3 per week. This is THE worst book. I couldn't finish listening! Reviews said first book sucked (and they were spot on).
After just finishing Jill Kismet this book was a w f u l.
"EH....Just OK"
The story line definitely has potential, but the main character just comes off as naive and dingy. I made it through the first book and I thought I'd give it another try. I prefer kick butt bad azz chicks and Cassandra Palmer just doesn't do it for me. It's a shame because I really liked the other characters and the story line. The narrator did not help the situation. The narrator was fine for everyone else, but for Cassandra, the voice and tone was quite annoying.
"potential if the narrator could be replaced"
The most annoying narration of any book ever. It is really hard to get past the god awful mispronunciations
"wolverine"
It is one thing for Cassandra to take the high road about weaponds and other things to which would allow her to defend herself. She winnes and has self loathing when someone gets hurt in protecting her, but when will it dawn on her to do something to protect herself. I am waiting on Pirtkin to tell her get a grip and help yourself or I am outta here.
