"The Message is Good, but the Narrator was Terrible"
I was glad to see the "Inspired by... the Bible Experience" voicing the Old Testament books because I was thrilled with their vocalization of the New Testament. Because they use different people to narrate the Biblical characters, there is variety that helps maintain the listener's interest, even during books like Numbers with their lists and geneologies. However the narrator of Deuteronomy was a real let-down. It finally caused me so much annoyance that I turned it off. That doesn't lessen the value of the Word of God, but it certainly makes listening less enjoyable.
