"lovely but abridged"
I loved the other Don Miguel Ruiz audios and they are transforming me... but I would not have ordered this one had I realized it was abridged. The others are not, so I didn't even check. With that said, I still gleaned a lot from the book but wanted to mention the abridgement in case that is important to other potential listeners.

"A new way to see yourself and others"
This is a beautiful and gentle way of seeing others and yourself in a much more compassionate way. Knowing that everything we are programmed with is just a habit that has been deeply entrenched over the millenia. The beauty about a habit is that it's changeable when you do another behaviour instead.

"change the story!"
Change the story in your head and stop believing all the lies you have told yourself, and other people have told you. Believe in light and love and kindness; pray to be shown the way. A very inspirational book!!!

"This resonated with me"
I found the first chapter to be kind of a strugle but it definitely got better from there.
The author's metaphore is simple and altruistic.
I liked his view of the "Truth" and "lies" and found it refreshing and simple way of dealing with one's self and surroundings.
I hope I can silence the "lies" as he puts it.

A haunting and beautiful book, written with great dignity and love. The truth I felt when listening to this book has made a huge difference to me deep within my soul. Exquisite !

"Continues on the path established in previous work"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?Yes-I feel that it delivered a needed "jolt" allowing me to appreciate my journey and gain awareness that I am making progress.
