"Oldie but Goodie"
Erma Bombeck is even now regarded as a premier writer of comedy. As a parent with grown children of her own, I remember all the times I said this phrase under my breath. Now it's coming true.
Each of my children has at least one child that replicates almost exactly the antics they perpetrated when they were young. From permanent markers on the wall to small trucks down the toilet - or My Little Ponies in the case of the girls - my expectations have come true.
For older parents, this is nostalgia, for younger ones, it's a prediction. A really funny 'read' in any case. Barbara Rosenblatt does an inimitable performance as narrator.0 of 0 people found this review helpful -
"Adorable!"
Would you listen to Just Wait 'Til You Have Children of Your Own! again? Why?Yes, this is the third time I listen to it. I love it. My type of listen during boring commutes and after a rough day at work.
What did you like best about this story?The performance is outstanding, and the characters in the story are hillarious.
What does Barbara Rosenblat bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?The performance was full of energy.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?Not really moved, but entertained. I laughed from beginning to end.

"Enjoy!!!"
Where does Just Wait 'Til You Have Children of Your Own! rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?I enjoyed Erma when I was in college. I wish she was still with us. I have been listening to Laura Notaro books. I enjoyed her but miss having a mother's point of view.

"Disappointment – Terrible"
I use to like Erma’s stuff but this was a BIG disappointment. My girlfriend and I both listened to it and we both agreed that it was not very funny.
