Night Light

I enjoyed this book even more than the first one. I like the different narrator better, and I thought the story was much more emotionally gripping. I was also challenged by the message, and spent some time soul searching about how I would react in similar circumstances. Christian fiction at it's best!

Thank you Terri Blackstock for showing the world that fiction can be interesting and exciting and still include Christian values. I cannot wait to hear the next book!

I have other Blackstock books, and have enjoyed them more than this one. I'm a Christian, and I seek out novels that don't have alot of explicit sex and violence. I listened to the first chapter of this book and the story line just did not hold my interest.

I enjoyed this book, even though I really wanted to choke one particular character(no spoilers). I think many of us would be whinny and unappreciative, when put in similar circumstances. Overall a pretty good book and series.

This is the second book in a series. A pulsar has somehow affected all power on the planet Earth and every electronic device is rendered useless. The book follows the continuing struggle of a family and the surrounding community, how they survive and keep their sanity. Very intriguing subject.

Yes, It was an excellent story with credible characters cast in a situation that makes me ponder how I would respond in a similar situation. The narrator was excellent in voice change between characters. There was not a dry spot in the story for me.

Deni was my favorite. Her responses to the various crises she encountered were very similar to what I think my own would have been. I also liked that she was still struggling with her relationship to Craig at the end of this book, which I feel is very realistic.

Terri Blackstock is an incredible writer. I love her characters and the storyline is captivating. I can't wait until I start the next book in the series.

Blackstock really knows how to continue a saga seamlessly. We pick the characters right back up from the book before and continue on. The characters grow as they face the trials and turn to God. My next purchase will be the next book in this series. Great job, Terri Blackstock!

very entertaining

The plot synopsis does not state this is an inspirational (Christian) novel, or that this is a sequel. I read the occasional Christian novel but oftentitmes they are too simplistic and preachy. I was looking for sci-fi, and I don't particularly care for this. It might be nice for the kiddies to read, 'tho. Again, this is book 2 in a series so I suggest you read them in order.

This is a really boring audiobook with a very weak story line and totally unbelievable characters.
