I read so I can write
"Hard to get enough"
It is hard to get enough of the incredible Cynsters. Ms Laurens is a master at building tender traps for her heros, and Simon Prebble continues to be an outstanding voice for them.
Never judge a book by its movie
"Great Book"
No, they were both great
Loved when Gabriel Cynster finds out the new woman he is obsessed with is actually a child hood friend who he can't seem to stop arguing with.... I love it, when he realizes it.
Its gets even better when Altheana knows, he knows... and tries to avoid him without making a scene in in a ballroom full of people. She is so classy.
Rupurt(Gabriel) Cynster, but my all time favourite is Sebastian (Devil) Cynster. He is a CLASSIC character.
At times I actually wanted to smack some people upside their heads.... sometimes it was Gabriel for not knowing when to shut up! Other times it was Altheana for enabling her whole family to lay back while she risks herself to save them.
I really loved the exchanges between Gabriel and his valet Chance ( named because he saved Gabriel from being killed in the 'slums ' of London, and so Gabriel gave him a chance to better himself.... it's really funny.
This is my 2nd favourite Cynster story.
First will always be Devil's Bride.
"My new favorite author"
I love this series of books and have now added SL to my growing list of favorite authors. Simon does an excellent job of narration.
Tell us about yourself!
"Read 5 of them"
I already read the first 5 books and downloading #6 as I write. I love every single one of them. The story lines make me laugh, cry and feel their love.
"Very well done! Kept you reading for more"
The beginning of the book, the secret, and then the outcome when that secret is revealed.
All the characters were great!
They were great, and easily understood who was who.
Yes, listen while flying across the states. Great entertainment!
