"Sandford and Ferrone - Match Made in Heaven"
Is it possible to fall in love with an author/narrator/protagonist combo? Yes, indeed. Sandford, Ferrone and that sometimes naughty Davenport rock the story.

"Lucas Davenport Continues to Thrive"
Would you consider the audio edition of Shadow Prey to be better than the print version?One of the best in the Prey series. Subtle yet compelling and with a suspenseful plot. Richard Ferrone is a forceful and very listenable narrator.

"ALWAYS GREAT"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?Yes; the writing is wonderful, stories are intricate, plausible, and a little humor never hurts.
What other book might you compare Shadow Prey to and why?All of the John Sanford books are great; I look forward to each new one as it comes out,. My favorite author, right along with Michael Connelly.
Which scene was your favorite?None in particular. All are good.

"Oldie but Goodie"
If you could sum up Shadow Prey in three words, what would they be?Exciting, sarcastic, fun
What was one of the most memorable moments of Shadow Prey?When Lucas first meets Shadow in the apartment
What does Richard Ferrone bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?Richard Ferrone has become Lucas Davenport. His voice brings the right amount of edge, sarcasm and humor. He is a great narrator.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Yes if only I could.
Any additional comments?So happy that the old Prey novels have been released in this fashion with Richard Ferrone reading them. Hats off to John Sandford, great author.

"Second Time Around"
Would you consider the audio edition of Shadow Prey to be better than the print version?I don't read books in print asuch as I used to. I now prefer audio, especially for trips and before bedtime.
Who was your favorite character and why?Lucas Davenport is always a favorite. I like all of John Sandford's characters--the so-called villains and the heroes.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?The early murders and then the later justification for the native Americans.
Any additional comments?This is the second time I heard the book. I bought it twice by mistake, not realizing it was in my old library. I liked it as well the second time around. Sandford is a great storyteller and character builder. I like his ironic or wry sense of humor. The narrator, Ferrrone is also on the mark--keeps me engaged. More Sandford, please!
