"BETTER THAN THE FIRST"
SO FAR SO GOOD. I THOUGHT THE FIRST BOOK WAS GOOD BUT THIS ONE IS EVEN BETTER. THERES MORE ACTION, MORE DRAMA, AND ANOTHER LOVE INTEREST. DEFINITLY WORTH IT.

"Great Series"
I was surprised at how much I liked this series. I picked the first book out just browsing for something to listen to. I enjoyed it so much I ordered the rest of the trilogy and listened to the whole series very quickly. Therese Plummer did a great job with the narration.

"The Series Improved"
Most the time there is a dip in book 2 in series. There is a bit of story that is needed to fill the gap. But "Torn" was definitely an improvement to the series.
(Spoiler ALERT)
Wendy is forced away from her human home and taken to another kingdom where she finds that her dad is indeed not dead. Though stunned and happy to find out she has a father, she quickly learns that what he wants her to do with her life was no better than what she left when she ran from her mother.
Rescued and taken home, she is now even more entangled in what she must do to save the kingdom her mother has protected and the lives she has come to know. Now torn between two loves and a man she doesn't love but is obligated to marry, her life is just a bit messy for a princess.0 of 0 people found this review helpful -
"I don't know what I expect to find..."
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?Depends. If my friend was looking for a good story, probably i wouldn't. But I my friend was looking for a book, for just something to listening, I would recommend, because the story is not bad, is just to simple. Is a good distration, if you like books.
What other book might you compare Torn to and why?Night World: The Secret Vampire - J.L. Smith.
What three words best describe Therese Plummer’s voice?I have just one word: wonderfull.

"Team Loki?"
What does Therese Plummer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?The voices, the meter, the interpretations. They all worked for me!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?I'm probably just a sucker, but I love Loki! Not sure if he's a sneaky jerk, or for real. I hope he's for real!

"Didn't finish"
What did you love best about Torn?I enjoyed the first book while this one was a little slow and wasn't filled with as much action . Missing the WOW factor.
Would you recommend Torn to your friends? Why or why not?I would recommend this book to teens and someone looking for a good rainy day book.
Have you listened to any of Therese Plummer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?I have listened to Therese performance, I believe any narrator that embraces the character/s and makes you feel apart of the book has great talent.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?This book should have been listened to all at once. Although the performance was enticing the story line was getting dull and hard to focus on.

"love these books"
What made the experience of listening to Torn the most enjoyable?Love the different character voiceovers. It made you feel like you were really listening to the characters speak.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Torn?The whole story left you wanting more.
Which scene was your favorite?too many. The whole book was great. I usually just listen in my car but found myself bringing the audiobook in the house and listening to it while the baby was asleep.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?Neither really. Just kept me on the edge of my seat.
