      "lecture, quiz, and test, 20 minute chapters."

      I would recommend this book in addition to any other book on world history one listens to. The testing part makes for a much better understanding and rememberance. It is clean cut, fact driven and strives for a deep understanding of the events and styles of societies throughout the centuries.
      Start with this book or top off your other world history books with this one.
