"A disappointment."
What disappointed you about The New Bible Cure for Depression and Anxiety?I was expecting some sort of guidance and advice, but all I got and I was unable to listen to the whole recording) - was a list of what sounded like the side effects of pills printed on the labels of pharmacy medicines.I regret to say I got nothing whatever from this book; but it does not mean that YOU (the reader) may not get some good information. It is just my opinion.
Would you ever listen to anything by Don Colbert again?No.
How did the narrator detract from the book?Boring repetitive lists of "side effects" depending on what you eat and how you live your life.The narrator also read it in an "elevated enthusiastic way" as if the mysteries of the Universe were being awesomely solved.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The New Bible Cure for Depression and Anxiety?I only listened to half the audiobook and then gave up. I am unable to say. From what I heard, I would say the whole thing ought to be cut....I did not get up to any "New Bible Cure for Depression and Anxiety" and I certainly could not see it coming.
Any additional comments?I do not wish to offend. This review is personal. Another listener may have been riveted by this audiobook; and I do not doubt Dr. Colbert's expertise or good will. It just wasn't the book for me
