"Excellent - but no section navigation"
Since Audible discontinued NPR's wonderful program "All Things Considered," I have been searching for a replacement. I find the combination of international news and more extensive features to be an interesting mix. However, I find the inability to navigate sections (thereby skipping a feature of less interest) to be a frustrating drawback.
"Recommended"
Excellent and in-depth coverage of world events. Particularly helpful when there is some crisis in the world and you want to hear it from more than the U.S. perspective. My only complaint is that they don't hire folks to download the weekend programs as well.
"News in Brief is well Presented"
This is my first time subscribing to a news broadcast, and I'm really enjoying it. While I don't think the one-hour segments are quite as varied as I'd hoped (they tend to pick one or two major topics and focus on them for the majority of the hour), and while they do tend to focus a bit on British news, overall the broadcasts are easily digestible and informative. I will be trying the NY Times subscription next month, just to see if they have more variety, but will surely come back to the BBC in the future.

"Brilliant World Coverage"
If you want good coverage of news with a global perspective, then this is probably the best you'll find. The interviews are engaging, the topics varied, and the standard of journalism is usually brilliant.
It was well worth the wait to accumulate all 4 credits needed to get the 1 year subscription. Thank you Audible, PRI and the BBC for giving me great news coverage every day.
