"Excellent book"
Whether you're interested in Fundamental or Technical trading, this book has snippets of wisdom for everyone. It won't tell you a particular stock to buy, but it will help you understand a variety of aspect of the market and help you define your philosophy of trading. Both the introductions and the readings themselves are enlightening. Very enjoyable listening!
"Different perspectives"
Very interesting overview of different investment perspectives ranging from the pure horse sense approach to the almost esoteric analysis explained by the practitioners themselves. Excellent narration captures each individual style.
"A solid choice"
This book is both interesting and useful. It offers exposure to a wide variety of investing related topics. I believe most individual investors will find something useful in this book. If you are looking at some different investing books I recommend this one and Peter Lynch's "One Up on Wall Street". I recommend these two above "Forbes: Greatest Investing Stories" and "Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits (Philip Fisher).
"Excellent book..great insight on investing"
Yes. Good view on various investment thoughts.
John Bogles books on investing.
Much better to listen to it than read it. Allows one to conentrate on the issues rather than just reading the words.
Look around and you will see investment opportunities.
Really enjoyed the wide range of investment thoughts.
"Packed with insight!"
I am planning to listen to this book a number of times, to really absorb, learn & retain more and more of the timeless insight and wisdom packed into such an easy and captivating listen!
this is the first book I have come across that has this kind of information packed into such an easy to understand format.
Richard Poe is actually very good to listen to especially compared to a lot of the other audio books I've listened to. I would say he is great story teller, it is not like you are trying to listen to the information, instead you just get absorbed into the story of the information & there for remember more through the experience of it all.
it has really opened my mind to the different ways to look at investing and the different areas of investing, and to look at what is happening in the world around me to know what areas to focus my efforts on. it helps me know what to be mindful of when investing to help manage risk.
it is real short but I found I am still able to get a lot out of it!
"Brilliant reading"
The reader reminds me of an old radio program, in how he introduces the story and then tells it. It was a wonderful way of presenting this information. Absolutely loved it!
"Too short to be useful"
It's possible of having a few insights on the investment styles of this "audiobook"(although I have great difficulty of seeing it as a complete book, because it is so short), the essays are really to quick to deliver the depth required for the useful appliance on the hard practice of financial practice.
Not from the same publishers.
A bit too fast.
Because of the above reasons.
