I've become a sucker for Audible. I love audiobooks, to the point of addiction. Especially a good romance audiobook... :)
"Keep reading, the rest of the series is wonderful."
Kev is not my favorite hero, and this was a rather frustrating book.
The next three books of this series are amazing. So keep reading!!! :)
"Eh, it's okay."
I enjoyed the first Hathaway book enough to look for the second. Unfortunately I found it a bit tedious. The best parts were with Amelia and Rowan from book one. The Kev and Win story just seems contrived with roadblocks of their own making. I finished the book, but only because I paid for it.
"Decent read"
Considering that Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorite authors this one was disappointing to me. I wasn't crazy about the gypsy sub-plot and found the male protaganist to be surly and unattractive. My disappointment in this one will not discourage me from buying other selection by this author.
I read so I can write
"I love this series"
I always expect great things from Kleypas and this series does not disappoint. The characters are strong and entertaining and their interaction with each other builds a good story. I don't agree with other reviewers who did not like Kev. Considering his background he is believable. For him to move from point A to point B would have been difficult and how he did so made sense.
I look forward to continuing this series.
Ms Landor is one of my favorite narrators.

"Don't skip this book."
I started to skip this book because of the review I read. I would have missed an important part of the Hathaway story as well the times I laughed out loud. This book is an intergral part to the Hathaway series not just a
Finding the family they had searched for in Noah.
How do you pick a favorite from an ensemble cast?
I held my breath when Cam's life was threatened.
I love books in series and this is one of the best to me because the characters are involved in each book, not just mentioned as in some series. It didn't distract from the main characters but enhanced them. I was also delighted that the Wallflowers flowed into the Hathaways series.

"Narrator fail"
Narrator Landor is the worst choice I can imagine for Kleypas' historical romance. I love the books but the audio is unbearable. Kev as written by Kleypas is a wonderful hero, not the barking old man portrayed by Landor.
"Great book"
Love Lisa Kleypas and her books writen in victorian England. Can't wait for the next book in this series.
I just Love the Allure of a Great Romance...a Pair of Rose Colored Glasses...some Fine Wine, and a Subscription to Audible...
"Love it! Love it! Love it!"
Seduce Me at Sunrise is the second book in the Hathoway's series, and it is a book you will not want to put down. I would definitely recommend it to any of my adult friends.
Lisa has a gift for developing very likable characters, that as a reader, you begin to invest your time in getting to know. I love this family of misfits! They are precious, and funny, and loyal. They love each other as a family should, with "warts and all".
You will definitely want to begin with the first book in the series, "Mine Till Midnight", where you will first be introduced to the Hawthorn family, and learn the story of Amelia, the oldest Hawthorn sister and Cam, a wonderfully exotic man who is half gypsy, and half Irish. Their story will capture your attention, and lead you to Seduce Me at Sunrise, where we learn about Winn, Hawthorn sister #2, and Kev. I just downloaded the third book in the series and plan to begin tonight.
Rosalyn Landor is always an amazing performer. I have downloaded several books (including those by Lisa Kleypas) based on the fact that Rosalyn would be the reader. Her voices are amazing and realistic. I have enjoyed each book I have downloaded where she read.
This series of books will provide a full well-rounded experience of emotions. The reader is immediately captivated by the clearity of the descriptions, whether it be a character or setting, and with each word, the books are more difficult to put down.
DOWNLOAD THIS BOOK...DEFINITELY WORTH THE CREDIT!
"Enjoyable mindless listening"
It is mindless entertainment to listen to while driving around. Comparable to all the Lisa Kleypas books with romance, mild sex, a tragedy, and a predictable ending.
Any of Lisa Kleypas Hathaway books. Someone had said it was less interesting, but I found it the same as the others.
It would give away the book if I said this- but near the end.
An Unlikely Match
"Hooked on the Hathaway's"
I first discovered Lisa Kleypass when listening to her modern romance novels which are a must read/listen. I normally enjoy more of the modern romance books but tried seduce me at sunrise on one of the sales audible was having, and, well… leave to Lisa Kleypass to hook you right in. I really enjoyed the Hathaway's series.
