Who was your favorite character and why?Funny Cide, because he realized his role in it all.
What about Dan Cashman’s performance did you like?I liked his performance, but whoever engineered the recording needs to pay more attention to his recording levels. It got quiet and then loud, and loud is better. I have 92 acres to mow and I listen while I'm mowing. I can always turn it down, but I had it all the way up and sometimes I couldn't hear it, then the level would change and it took my ears off.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?I have 6 horses, so I love an underdog hero horse story.
Any additional comments?This has caused me to want to finish my book, " For The Love Of A Horse".

"Heartwarming story"
I really, really enjoyed this book. The story will give you goosebumps and pull at all of your emotions. It's probably not the best book to listen to if there are people around b/c you might end up hooping and hollaring during the racing scenes (I know I was rooting right along). The narrator isn't the best, he doesn't have much range in his voice, but after a short while you won't mind a bit. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was b/c of the story itself, there were a couple of times at the beginning that it went into long descriptions of the back stories of the people involved and I wanted it to focus on the horse. But stick through that part and you'll end up wrapped up in Funny's story and his antics. Truly a story to make you smile when you listen.
