Carla married Pete after her former fiancé, Wayne - Pete's best friend since childhood - cheated on her. Lately, she's begun meeting Wayne as a friend, but she's also been gauging her smoldering attraction to him. Then Pete lays a shocking secret on Carla and asks for her forgiveness: he's been unfaithful.
Carla wants to even the score, but with whom will she stray? With Pete's explicit consent, she meets Wayne in a hotel room for a night of runaway passion that soon changes everything.

"Good, but unbelievably twisted"
Although this is an interesting story, it got far too complicated to be believable. I'm married, but I'll be damned if I let my spouse make demands like this spouse did ... and I'm not sure I could respect him if he "let" me. I would hope that no one in their right mind would be foolish enough to play the life-altering games that unfolded in this book. I thought I was buying fiction, not a cheap soap opera!
"Good Listen!"
This was a good story and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I hated to put it down although I must admit I was a bit disappointed with the ending. But I'll allow the other listeners to judge that for themselves. Overall, a great read!!
Love books on tape! It's all about the narrators for me though. No matter how good the story, if the narrator doesn't cut it...
"BORING...AND RIDICULOUS"
It was all I could do to get to the end of the first part of the book. The more I listened, the more ridiculous it became. Pete's request of Wayne....???? This story, while well told, was boring, far fetched and just plain ridiculous. Where's the love, faith, and trust? You either forgive or you don't.
My suggestion is to wait for more reviews before purchasing. The five reviews that were there for me were all good. Yes, this is a work of fiction, but nothing near anything I can relate to or refer to in real life.
I would not recommend this book.
"Excellent"
The story is great but a little unrealistic. alot of twists and turns and your always on edge. Would reccomend to anyone.
