"Great story, awful narration"
What made the experience of listening to Night Shift the most enjoyable?I love the fast pace of the story. Never a dull moment and easy to keep paying attention to the story for long periods of time.
Who was your favorite character and why?I liked Jill be because she is strong but flawed. She is a hero but not a perfect person and it's easy to sympathize with her character.
Would you be willing to try another one of Joyce Bean’s performances?Joyce Bean is one of the worst narrators I have ever listened to and it's a shame that she has ruined otherwise good books with her voice and over pronunciation of words. When I purchased this book I didn't think to check to see who the narrator was. If I had known it was JB then I would have just read the book instead of listened to it. She is the reason I didn't give this book a 5 star rating.
