"food for thought"
The StandOut assessment and guidebook provided some great insight into my strengths and how to capitalize on them. The beginning of the book has some background history on the development of StandOut. After that section it contains all of the code descriptions that appear in individual assessment reports.
The audible site stated that an assessment key would be emailed to purchasers of the audio book. After speaking with Audible support, and waiting a few more days, I still had not received a key to take the assessment. However, at a certain point into the audio it gives the publisher's phone number, and after calling them I was able to get a key.
"Interesting Information and Insight"

I will reference many times for my personal growth and management style.
"Stimulating!"
I appreciate the emphasis on teams and the use of strengths in teams. Reminds me of Strength's Based Leadership, another great book!
"Good Tool to self-evaluate. Take the test first!"
Yes but take your strength test first so you can focus on your top two in the book. Reading this from cover to cover is not what this book is designed for.
No
I would recommend it however, it would be best to take the test after the intro and then focus on where your strengths fall. Great team building exercise and getting to know the people you work with and how to utilize everyone's strengths.
