"nice family stories"
My five year old son loves these stories, and I enjoy listening to them as well. The cameraderie among the siblings is refreshing and it is nice how resourceful the kids are. Each of the stories has an element of mystery to them, which keeps you interested. (My three year old, however, starts to get antsy with these stories, because they are so lengthy - we have to take Dr. Seuss and Nate the Great breaks for him!)

"My 8 year old loves the Boxcar Children Series"
What did you love best about The Boxcar Children Collection?These books show how children can handle themselves in some serious situations with grace and kindness. There are also some history lessons - how did people get help before cell phones and computers? Maybe size up a stranger and consider asking them?
What other book might you compare The Boxcar Children Collection to and why?My son has caught up on the Magic Tree House and Geronimo books and this gives him another big series, although most of the Boxcar Children series hasn't made it from hard-copy to audio yet. These are all stories that my son goes back to again and again.

"A Classic!"
Would you consider the audio edition of The Boxcar Children Collection to be better than the print version?This audiobook was so convenient to listen to. On my phone, on my tablet, even on my computer. I plugged a little speaker in to my tablet or phone and we listened while eating lunch and doing dishes.
What other book might you compare The Boxcar Children Collection to and why?A cross between Columbo and Mayberry.
What about Phyllis Newman’s performance did you like?Her voice was awesome and very understandable.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Yes, couldn't wait to restart it.
Any additional comments?I love the convenience of audiobooks. I am a busy mom and don't have time to sit down and read books but on the go is amazing. I really like how it starts where you left off or you can rewind too. My daughter and I listened together. It was like listening to the old radio programs. Family time together was nice.

"Love these on Audio - Great stories!"
Had a great time listening to these stories with my 11 yr old son. I read all of these as a child and enjoyed hearing them all over again! Good books.
