"could have been alot better"
What disappointed you about A Line in the Ice?The narrator was horrible. I hate to admit it but a female narrator cannot do a male voice. If it wasnt for the horrible accents the narrator gave to people, i wouldnt have been able to tell who was who. The story itself could have been alot better. there needed to be more back story to the rift, characters and the other side. too much time was spent in the ice base and not enough time about the rift, the enimies and the other creatures. this could have been easily made into a series.
Has A Line in the Ice turned you off from other books in this genre?it makes me alot more hesitant to buy a book that has a female narrator.
How did the narrator detract from the book?you couldnt hear the different expressions that each character experienced. it was like she was struggling to just keep their voices the same and was unable to express anything else.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?huge disappointment. the summary of the book sounded awesome. but after 5 minutes of listening to the narrator i was already disappointed.
