"Good listen!"
Good clean Amish story in the typical Beverly Lewis tradition, with a good plot. I enjoyed the narrator too. She's pleasant to listen to. I enjoyed this book!

"Beverly Lewis at her best"
part one was the setting up of the rest of the story discovering love, lost faith found agian.. but with a twist... cant tell you more if you havent read or listened to the storys but you probably wont want to stop till the story is told i read and listened more than once enjoy : )

"Boring!!!!"
What disappointed you about The Thorn?I was very disappointed!!! This book is so boring I haven't been motivated enough to finish it! I felt like the plot could have gotten interesting, but NEVER did! It was like a bad soap opera, it never went anywhere.I know that there were other reviews that said this was a great read, so maybe I'm just not a fan of the amish setting.
Has The Thorn turned you off from other books in this genre?YES!
Would you be willing to try another one of Christina Moore’s performances?I didn't like her male voices and you could tell when she must have taken a break and then started again, it was like her voice sounded completely different in the middle of a paragraph. So probably not.

"Nothing Much Happens."
Would you try another book from Beverly Lewis and/or Christina Moore?I've listened to several of Beverly Lewis' books and I will again. I found Christina Moore's voice a little annoying. After a bit I got used to it, but if I stopped listening for a while and then came back, I would have to get used to it all over again.
Would you ever listen to anything by Beverly Lewis again?Did I not just answer this question?
What do you think the narrator could have done better?There were times where she would take long breaks. One time I actually checked my Ipod to see if it had died! I'm not sure that's her fault though. That probably falls on the producer.
Do you think The Thorn needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?yes. It was pretty much a lot of lead up to the very last chapter. Even though nothing much happened, I learned so much about the characters that now I have to find out how they end up.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Yes indeed. I can hardley ever turn her books off in the middle.
