Lutishia Lovely, author of A Preacher’s Passion, pens this provocative tale about a minister and his congregation caught up in a whirlwind of scandal. The young Reverend Nate Thicke has made quite the reputation for himself ,but when he falls in love and gets married, he swears to become a one-woman man. Most of his congregation forgives him for his past sins, but some aren’t quite ready to give the Reverend a second chance.

"not christian literature"
This book does not belong in the inspirational christian book section. Its very free with four letter words. Its not a bad book and could be considered inspiring but not christian inspirational.
"He was definatly a "Feel-Good" Preacher!"
I read the summary of this book for a long while before I finally decided to purchase it and now I am wondering...why did I take so long? Book 1 of this series is surely a page turner and the narration is magnificent. The story and plot is well-thought out. Being a Noble woman is both stressful and fulfilling but Destiny handled her business and made me proud. Can't wait to read Book 2.
Love books on tape! It's all about the narrators for me though. No matter how good the story, if the narrator doesn't cut it...
"DIDN'T LIKE - READ COMMENT BEFORE BUYING"
I can't really speak on the book since I couldn't get past Chapter 3. I know this is fiction; however, I had a very difficult time listening to the mother telling her very young daughter that it was okay for the Reverend to "touch her". I've requested to return this book. Maybe the book gets better, I don't know.
I love me some audio books! My taste ranges from Self Help, Motivational, Success, Fiction, Autobiography, African American, NWO, Business, Religious and more. I will be commenting from time to time and I hope my reviews are helpful!
"Eye Opener"
This book was AWESOME! The Narrator did a Wonderful job. It was vivid and never a dull moment! I must say that I do believe it belongs in the Christian. This is Keeping it Real. Stop trying to act like Christians walk like Christ. I bet plenty of this carrying on happens all the time. To the Arthur, I love your work. I will definitely recommend you book!!!!!!!!
"This book is revealing!!"
This book reveals a side of church that is not generally talked about ---sexual abuse of the youth, sexual promiscuity among the pulpit and membership, using God's name for one's own gain and personal agendas, and how the concept of the pulpit is abused. I recommend this book to church-goers and non-attendees alike. I am sure that readers will both enjoy this book and yet go "tsk, tsk!" at the shame of it all. A must read!
