School psychologist Skye Denison reluctantly agrees to act as maid of honor in her California cousin's over-the-top platinum-style wedding - and is also expected to assist the control-freak wedding planner. But when Skye discovers the planner dead, just one week before the big event, Skye is suddenly working double-duty. While overseeing every nuptial detail, she's also helping the police find out who hated the bridal consultant enough to kill her.
Can Skye get her cousin to the church on time - and save herself from a killer who may actually be on the guest list?

"The best traditional mystery series being written today." (CrimeSpree magazine)

"One of my favorite in the Scumble River Series"
I would not wish wedding planning on anyone especially for Skye's cousin Belle. As always Scumble River is full of great characters and I feel like I know them.

"Not That Impressed"
Story was ok but the rudeness of everyone Skye talks to gets on my nerves.
She was fine.
"Love love the series"
Can't wait for the next one. Guess I will have to read the earlier ones, really enjoy it. Great characters, keeps the interest, funny moments, narrator is good.
"Another great hit"
Skye Dennison is great in this book. There is so much going on but I never got lost. This is one of the best in the series.
"Cute little mystery"
Good performance, good story. Exactly what I expected from this type of book Enjoyed it.
"Light Hearted Entertainment"
An entertaining murder mystery not requiring a huge effort to enjoy. Light hearted plot that involves some zany characters
"Miserable"
I don't know who would enjoy this book. Somebody may tolerate it but NOT enjoy it
No
Yes
This book was my worst book purchase. It was very boring and didn't hold my interest. I stopped midway through as I couldn't invest any more time hoping the storyline would improve.

"Light and amusing"
Yes, a good listen on holiday. I didn't mind pausing it to do other things.
I liked the characters in the rough end of town, the trailer town wedding was funny.
Yes.
Yes.
"Nice Listen"
I've always enjoyed this series. This book, though not the best in the bunch, was very enjoyable.
The mystery was good. I didn't guess who did it until the very end. I'm not really able to relate to the door-mat mentality of our heroine when it comes to her family though.
The narrator, as always, was excellent. She gives Ms. Swanson's sardonic humor the perfect emphasis.
I enjoyed the book, and will continue with the series.

"Overall OK"
The setting! There are a few writers that I come upon that I really like their work and want to read more but when they are all set in little one horse towns where everyone knows one another; it loses variety and then starts to become stale with a lot to be desired. And with a murder in each one they would be the murder capital of the US.
Yes but I seriously doubt if I will ever pay for another one. The small town setting is not a draw for me.
Nothing
Heck No, BORING!
