Basketball star Darius Jones has it all. He's got a chance to become the league's most valuable player, and he's crazy in love with his wife and son. But just when Darius thinks everything's going right, a drunk driver slams into his car, leaving his wife, Fancy, in a coma with a slim chance of surviving.
Darius’ estranged ex-wife Ashlee immediately seizes the chance to fight for custody of their son, claiming that Darius’ demanding schedule and his emotional turmoil make him an unfit father. As a heartbroken Darius struggles to balance keeping his head in the game, sitting by his wife's side, and trying to win back his son, a stalker groupie convinces him to escape his sorrows for just one night. But Darius doesn't realize that his sexiest fan has much more in store for her obsession—and she'll do whatever it takes to ensure that Darius becomes her man and that Fancy doesn't leave the hospital alive.
With his life quickly unraveling, Darius must gamble all he's worked for to save his wife, reclaim his son, and stop one night of pleasure with a madwoman from becoming a lifetime of pain.

"More from Mary B. Morrison!"
This book moves very fast! I think it is pretty good. However, I would recommend that listeners either hear or read this author's previous books involving Darius, Fancy, his mother and ex-girlfriend Ashley before buying this book. Otherwise, you will be lost trying to keep up with these characters, their development, and their shannanigans. Once you've read or listened to her previous books in this order: "Soul Mate Dissipate" and "Never Again Once More", you will greatly appreciate this book!
Fort Worth, texas native and I love to READ!!!!
"DARIUS JONES"
The book has a great storyline, but the narrator was horrible especially when it came to the male characters of the book...overall I think its a good book
"Very Dissapointed"
This is my first listen/read of Mary Morrison & so far I'm pretty disappointed. I'm about halfway through the book and it's getting harder and harder with each passing minute. I'm honestly putting the fault so far on the narrator "Danella" because I've heard that Mary Morrison is all the rave but...Danella is HORRIBLE and at times it seems like she can even read. Will continue and hope it gets better.
"Darius Jones"
This book is wonderful, omg. Keep me very interested. Wonderful listen if you love Mary B Morrison, then you'll love this book!
"Too many charactors"
There were too many charactors in this story. Too much going on at the same time. It was hard to follow and a little too ghetto. There weren't any real jaw dropping moments in the book like one might expect. One might assume that this is Mary Morrison's first book, but it isn't!
"Mr Darius"
No I enjoyed listening to it for the dramatic flare
How he felt when they had the accident very memorable
Yes Very Good excellent
Darius and his loves
"HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Narrator"
Mary B. Morrison.......DON'T LET "DANELLA" OBLITERATE YOUR WORK AGAIN...... The horrible reading made it very difficult to concentrate on the story line…..
"Great Story"
This is a very good story, but the reader is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. However the story is good enough to overlook her.
"Bad Sign"
I haven't read the book yet, but the fact that the preview for the book was her dedication page, is not a good sign.
The plot sounded interesting so I went ahead and purchased the book, but it kinda irritates me that the preview wasn't of the novel. I mean that's the WHOLE point right? I hope she's not trying to hide some of the narrators shortcomings by doing that, because that's just not right.
So we'll see, I'll be sure to give others a detailed review (without giving away the story of course) of the book just as soon as I've finished. (SMH)
