"a witty good read"
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was fun reading from start to finish.
If you want a light read for a sunny afternoon you cant do better.
I found the reader quite good although I am aware that many persons
may not tune in to the 'english accent'.
"Perfect Book!"
This book was great - the best Jill Mansell I've heard on audible. The story was interesting (almost all character lines were good) and the narrator did a great job. I have listened to it twice now.
"Easy listening"
Lovely story, perfect matching narrating voice.
author of books for teens and children
"Great humor and romance"
A fun story of the romantic complications of a young British woman and her sweet, though a bit zany roommates. Fast-paced and funny, with characters I cared about. Great for fans of Sophie Kinsella.
"Sweet romance"
Karen Cass is fantastic! This is a sweet story with a good dash of romance and many likeable characters. Karen has a great way of giving voices to the characters - and expressing their personalities.
This one is simply just pleasant listening. The story isn't going to change your life with a great epiphany but it will give you a good 12 hours of listening entertainment.
If this was a movie, it would be classified as a 'chick flick' - girly. I doubt that this book will appeal to men.
An avid listener of audio books.
"Great story/pitch perfect narration"
I really enjoyed this book. It held my interest and was laugh-out-loud amusing. My only regret is that the two major characters didn't have enough love scenes together and there was not a respectable amount of time given before another relationship was realistically and respectively taken up -My personal gripes. Would I listen to it again? I have - Many times. Really worth your time. By Richard's wife
