    "Cant wait till november!"

I know this might be bad to say but I think I might actually like Harper better than Sookie. I really hope that this series catches on as well as the Southern Vampires.

    "Great book!"

I love Charlaine Harris' series, and loved listening to this thriller as an audio book. The reader kept me entranced, and I felt I was right in the midst of the book (a first for an audio book for me). I would definitely recommend this book to others.

    "Good Story"

I like the story. I felt that it could have been solved sooner but overall it was good. Harper is no Lily Bard, but she is likeable even with the plot twist in her character.

"Good Book - Good Reader - Can't wait"

This was even better than the other Charlaine Harris series. Well read. Next book in the series is due in October, I am very ready. I buy almost nothing in hardcover, but this series is worth it. Just a super listen, too. The characters are believable even if you wonder about their special abilities. The voice is smooth and certain, Good read. Solid plot.

    "Great"

The third book in the Harper Connelly series, I think this one has the strongest mystery. It kept me guessing. It also has more romance than the previous books, which I enjoyed. Love the narrator.

"A little slow but otherwise good"

This is a plausibly presented story of the implausible that intrigues and interests .. it just moves a little slower than it probably needs to. No complaints about the reader .. I just found I kept looking at the length of the book to see how much longer it was going to drag on.

    "An OK book"

The story is fine, though it's not as engaging as the Sukie series. The reader is terrible, like she's always having a cold. The voice is so old for the young character, and it's slow, emotionless and distracting.

    "Same story again."

for the third in the series I hoped that Harper would grow as a character. the mystery in this novel was at least compelling, but the series is more about Harper and her life and this is what drags the story down. I can't continue with a series where I find the main character so unbelievable stupid that the rest of the story becomes background, while I rant at the main character.
I'm sad to say this will be the last Harper Connelly story I'll be reading.
