"Glad I got it on sale!"
I would hate to pay full price for a one hour audio of a grown man moaning. No offence, Dr. Dyer, but it is downright painful listening!
Dyer offers little solid information aboout manifesting anything. The first 10 minutes he uses to applaud his method and another 5 minutes describing his mode as "radical," "ancient," and terribly "secret."
I can understand the need for secrecy: few people could suspend belief, dignity, or sanity long enough to spend hours sitting on the floor "aaahhhhing," as he advises.
I recommend Shakti Gawain and Louise Hay for more insightful and aurally-pleasing meditations.
"Know This...."
I'm a fan of Dr. Dyer. However this particular book is about 15 minutes of explanation of this meditation method and maybe 40+ minutes of listening to him say "aaahhhh" Not worth the money in my opinion. Check out his other audio books,
"Good for a beginner..."
An interesting take on Dzogchen meditation. It is a good beginning for someone who doesn't have their own intentions or affirmations and need some hints as to how to go about it. The audio is audiotape quality. Overall, it is good for someone who is starting out on the path to conscious intention.
"Wouldn't even give it one star"
Wish I had read the reviews, which I did afterwards, and it was too late. One person said it was like listening to a moose call for an hour, I totally disagree, it was worst. A waste of good money, wish I could return this one.
"Second time around"
This is the second time I bought this audio book. I bought it years ago but gave it away and often times wished I still had it. The book is good but I wish Dyer didn't give the affirmations. Though the affirmations are good sometimes, they are often times distracting. All in all a solid book and deeply spiritual
"Rock Bottom"
Help! Listening to Moose calls for an hour is disturbing at best.
"Horrible Sound Quality - Very RELIGIOUS"
I wasn't expecting the irritating breathing, lip smacking, swallowing, saliva, moist-mouth sounds throughout the recording. The recording it 10 minutes of talking about "this tape" and the rest is listening to Mr Dyer say AHHHHHHHH & OMMMMMMM. This is not a visual meditation recording. What totally shocked me was that this is a HIGHLY RELIGIOUS recording. Once you reach Chapter 3, it's all about God. To each his own, but this should clearly be in the description.
"Very good!"
Some people said they thought it was 'noise' - but they missed the explanation in the beginning.
I also think when you're 'in the zone/looking for guidance', then its just what the doc ordered; but if you're just looking for a 'background music' type of meditation, then this won't do.
I like it a lot, and it works for me! :)
"Stop it! Please!"
I thought these meditations were simply awful, and mostly I think it was because of Dr. Dyers voice. He seems to have a grating Ahhh and Ommm. I could have gone down to the local library and had a more conducive environment for meditating than listening to these meditations.
"Powerful prayer"
Dr. Dyer reinforces the inner power we fail to use, connecting with our Source, committing to daily meditation. When will we realize the importance of taking care of self. This is what is needed for all of us. Commit to this daily, everyone, and peace and harmony will manifest on this good earth.
