"Timeless Classic"
This is a timeless classic. The narration is crystal clear and just as potent as reading the book. Highly recommended.
"I Cannot Say One Wrong Word"
At age 16 this book saved my life physically, later my soul Spiritually.
I so respect this old time Methodist Preacher. What a kind, gentle, caring
soul he is. Could not put the paper copy down as a kid. Read this book and
reread it over the years. I took notes and high lighted my original copy.
Thought having it on my Mp3 for driving would keep me at peace and balanced
in a good place. Life comes at you fast! It's good to know where the bumps are
in the road ahead and to be prepared ahead of time. This book is good for that as
well as showing you the way out of any pitfall you already are in! I cannot wait to
meet you on the other side Dr. Peale. Because of you, I will be there. <3
Everything! His tone, the way his true heart comes through. His earnestness in wanting to somehow help lift up and pull up people to be better, do better, 'like' themselves. <3
All
It LIFTED tons of invisible yet very real WEIGHTS from my back & shoulders & Spirit.
I am not where I belong and want to be at this time but I thank God for Norman Vincent Peale that I'm most certainly NOT where I 'used' to be!!! Hoo Rah!
"Positive Review"
A time tested book. I found alot of the information to be very helpful. It contains a balance of religion with the advice it has in it. Worth every penny.
"Why "The Power of Positive Thinking""
I have to admit I have owned the book for almost a decade and struggled to get through it. Maybe the difference is the period which it was written in or his ability to tie the bible in. It just didn't create any feeling of curiosity or desire. The style of the book and the audio abridged version I felt lacked excitement and gratitude, that one should feel after hearing the message of Peale. This book and audio program has sold millions and I still recommend both as they have key principles that may help you look at your self differently. May you listen to this audio book and do what's most important which is take a thorough self analysis to understanding yourself. Conquer yourself by creating better habits by stacking good ones all day.

"the Power of Positive Thinking"
A classic ! Kind of reminds me of How to win friends and influence people. I loved the fact that the author is the narrator, some of the storys he used, i found to be quite funny and had a few good laughs through out listening. I loved it ! It really emphasized the power of faith and prayer which I find absolutely essential to surviving day to day life. Most people can use all the tip they can get to stay positive. I esspecially enjoyed his remedy for worrying. I helps.
"First listened to this 12 years ago..."
I listened to this 12 years ago and I had to add it to my collection. I'm not of his faith, but the principles are universal. Definitely worth listening to.
"Well known how good this is !"
The book itself and NVP are great !
I want to download this to itunes so I can get it on my ipad and ipod.
Audible books says I need to re-download itunes.
this is silly, as i use itunes almost every day, to get more music, audio books, podcasts.
I don't underst why they say to do this ??
"THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING"
I enjoy this book! Uplifting and well presented for the lay person. I listen to it everytime I need it!
"A Guide for Christian/Catholics"
If you are a devout Christian or Catholic then you will LOVE this book. I am not so I was really disappointed, especially since I had been looking forward to reading/listening to this for a while. I can tolerate a little religious insight, but Mr. Peale literally beats you over the head with the bible the whole way through. I did listen to the whole thing and got a few things from it, but I always lose respect for an author or speaker when they push their religious views on you.
