"IMHO Suspense doesn't work in bits and pieces"
I'll admit up front that I'm not a fan of the short story genre. I'm especially not a fan of long format writers trying to dip their toe into the short story genre. Most can't build suspense and bring it to a conclusion in 15 minutes or less. The whole concept was bad, although the execution was as good as you could hope for. It was boring enough that I had to quit listening on a long drive because none of the stories could generate my interest enough to keep me awake. Avoid it if you can.

"not what i expected"
What disappointed you about Thriller 2?I love a good thriller but, this was very boring. I kept drifting off.
Would you ever listen to anything by the authors again?It had different authors, so some I just might!
Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?Luke Daniels is my favorite that's Why I got!

"A variety of styles and voices"
This collection introduced me to some unfamiliar authors and allowed me to revisit some familiar ones. The narrators are superb and the writing is excellent! There is a great joy in sampling small portions of each author and looking forward to reading more of their work later on.

Can't believe I paid $19.59 for a 14 hour author commercial. Do not buy unless you need a nap. I have hundreds of books, this one I will delete.

"I Love It!!"
I'm an absolute Thriller/Suspense/Horror Book/Short Story Lover and if You are too..then this AudioBook is a must have for Your Collection!! I Love listening to hear the twists and turns..hours and hours of Spooky,Dark Room,Cuddle Up Suspense.I also bought First Thrills/High Octane Stories..1 of My Fav's!!A Must Have!! I also just bought Dangerous Women unabridged..I'm sure that wll be good too.These sorts of AudioBooks are for the True Openminded,Imaginative Suspense Lover**2 Thumbs up!!

My first short story book. Enjoyable read, especially those that did a good job of setting the stage early in the story.
