This time, America's favorite senior citizen takes on thieves who've stolen her jewelry. Although it's not the first time they've targeted her small North Carolina town, Miss Julia vows to make it the last. Soon she and her posse rush to Palm Beach for some sun, sand, and a bizarre stakeout. But how can two elderly ladies, a boy, and a tipsy private eye outfox crafty criminals?

"WONDERFUL!!!!"
Ann B. Ross has a very special gift. I wish that Audible would get all of her books. My favorite is Miss Julia Hits the Road, but every Miss Julia book is awesome. Please take the time to check out Miss Julia. You won't be sorry you did!!!!
"Miss Julia Strikes Back"
I have never enjoyed a Miss Julia book more! The story is very funny, but the narrator elevated it to hysterical. I laughed out loud through the whole book.
"My favorite Miss Julia book!"
I have enjoyed all the Miss Julia books, but this is one I have listened to several times. It didn't bother me a bit that the characters were out of their usual setting. The story is so hysterically funny and the reader just couldn't be better! The best yet!!
"Miss Julia should stay home"
I've read several of this series in hardback and found them a hoot -- and a "feel good" fast read. This was well done, but moving it to resort Florida removed many of the special characters that give heart to the series. And it put Miss Julia's foibles at a disadvantage. Good, but not the best.
"Same Miss Julia"
I find that the Miss Julia story lines do not change much. I have read every book in the series up to this book. I did not enjoy this one as much as the others, probably because most of the characters were on trips and basically were not in the story. I will definately continue to read this series.
"Miss Julia Strikes Back"
The book is very funny and the narrator makes it even funnier. I could just see then racing around Florida looking for her stolden items. Want more books like this one.
