"World is getting used to the blackout"
As this is the 3rd book in a series by Terri Blackstock, the first book starting off a world-wide power blackout which caused all modern electronic equipment to stop working in an instant, planes to fall out of the sky, cars to stop dead in their tracks (except really old cars), people on the planet Earth are getting used to the outage and are starting to figure out how to get by. The Branning family, the main characters in the series, come closer to their faith and continue to live and learn lessons in this new installment as they wait to see what is planned for them next. All in all, I found this an enjoyable "what if" series which really made me think about what I would do if I lost all of my electronic equipment all of a sudden. How would I cook, keep cool, get around, earn a living, get food? Yikes!
"Terri Blackock is one of my favorite writers"
I know I like Audio books because I can do other things while I listen.
my shelves are full of unread books.
The mystery and how she comes up with answers how to fix what is wrong.
Very Good
I like the Title it followed the theme
Another very good series
"A great series"
This is a great series. Be sure to start with Last light first. Terri has done a great job of depicting what the US would be like without the common convinces we take for granted each and every day, electricity, automobiles, water, heat and police. I highly recommend this series. Jack Barry Eugene, Oregon
"part 2 of 4"
this was good showing human nature at many levels i enjoyed it had to listen to them all cause it just could happen
"Good Strong Ending"
At first I was wary of this title because of how much shorter it was than the first two books. But my fears proved unfounded, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ending of this trilogy. My one complaint is that there were some loose ends not totally wrapped up, but I'm a fan of long, involved endings (i.e. Lord of the Rings). Great story, though, and great characters with a timely message. Well worth the read!
"A bit wearisome"
The first book, "Last Light" was entertaining, but the heavy handed method of preaching was annoying. The Christian message the author was trying to convey could have been done more subtly and more effectively. The second book, "Night Light", was not as good and the survival scenario seems a bit unrealistic. This book has a fairly predictable plot and is less interesting than the second book. I do not plan to get the fourth one in this series.
