I love reading and listening to books, especially fantasy, science fiction, children's, historical, and classics.
"A Bookish Boy, a Lazy Dragon, an Equable Knight"
One day a dragon who boasts blue scales and a preference for poetry rather than ???ramping??? starts living in a cave on the downs near the home of a boy who loves reading books, especially natural history and fairy tales. What will happen when the normal people living in the town, you know, the kind who love watching fights, baiting animals, punishing villains, and exterminating pests become aware of the dragon? Will the boy be able to arrange everything to everyone???s satisfaction? Grahame???s story is a humorous revision of usual tales featuring dragons. Although it threatens to become a wee bit precious at times, it???s mostly charming, and its themes about human nature are keen. And the reading by Anton Lesser is fine.
"Excellent listening"
Really enjoyed this as my first audio listening experience and I would recommend it to families with young children
