Welcome back to Grace Valley, California, where the best things in life never change…
Here in this peaceful community, folks look out for one another like family, though sometimes a little too well. In a town like this, it's hard to keep a secret - but Dr. June Hudson has managed to keep one heck of a humdinger…. Though visits from her secret lover, undercover DEA agent Jim Post, are as clandestine as they are passionate, somehow it fits with her demanding schedule as the town's doctor - a calling that requires an innate ability to exist on caffeine, sticky buns and nerves of steel.
But how can a secret lover compete with a flesh-and-blood heartthrob from her past? June's old flame has just returned to town after twenty years - and he's divorced. June is seriously rattled. So when the town's most devoted wife takes buckshot to her husband and some human bones turn up in her aunt Myrna's backyard, she's almost happy for the distraction.
Sooner or later, love will have its way in Grace Valley. It always does.

I Love Audiobooks & Great Narrators!!!
"Robyn Carr Does It Again!"
This is the 2nd book in the Grace Valley Trilogy. It was just as good as the 1st. Therese Plummer as always, was amazing! This story has a lot of things going on around the town at one time. I wish that instead of squeezing everything into 3 books that she could have drawn it out a little more. I LOVE the Virgin River Series and this Trilogy is just like it with different people. Definitely worth the credit, especially if you like Virgin River!
"Story of the heart"
Robyn Carr's delightful story of Grace Valley has kept me from all other duties wanting to know how it all pans out. Just like her Virgin River series I found myself willing things to happen that i suspected would happen but needed the detail filled in to get there. I have enjoyed listening and Therese Plummer's voice makes me feel like I'm there watching the story unfold.

"Love this!"
As usual Robyn Carr has written a great book. Therese Plummer did it justice. All in all, I recommend this for a warm heart felt book.
A thick lawn, running water, and a tree to sit under. That's close to heaven!
"Small Towns Were Never More Exciting"
The way the story showed some of the underlying life stories that go on in a small town without the majority knowing.
Lee for the way he kept in touch with the doctor even when whe had no idea he would call
I honestly love the performances of Therese Plummer with her precise enunciation and her arsonal of voices.
The story made me laugh almost all the way through.

"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!"
I love them!
All of it. I had already read The Virgin River Series and now got this. Both of these series are fantastic. I would love to see more.
All of them
both
Would love to see more of this series and The Virgin River series!!!!!
"Second in the Valley series"
I have enjoyed most everything I have read by Ms Carr and as I have said before Therese Plummer does a wonderful job with the narration. I like the Grace valley series, but truth be told I prefer Virgin River.
"A second disappointment"
There was no story but a repeat of the first Virgin River without romance or story line.
Audible addicted love mystery, lately stuck on love story. Mother of 1 Labrador and 1 perfect man. Work way too hard, and so ready to be retired
"Some laughs"
I enjoy book 2 also.my favorite is Junes dad he is funny, still not a virgin river listen. This series have more tragic moments and not so perfect people. Seem to focus on abused women, most of the population is older but funny. Definally not stand alone books because of ending should be listen in order.
