Rapture, the fourth & final Fallen novel, is the Lauren Kate book the world has been waiting for.
The sky is dark with wings....
Like sand through an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel. To stop Lucifer from erasing the past, they must find the place where the angels fell to earth.
Dark forces are after them, and Daniel doesn't know if he can do this: live only to lose Luce again and again. Yet together they face an epic battle that will end with lifeless bodies ... and angel dust. Great sacrifices are made. Hearts are destroyed.
And suddenly Luce knows what must happen, for she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they've borne has always and only been about her - and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now is the only one that truly matters. In the fight for Luce, who will win?
The astonishing conclusion to the Fallen series. Heaven can't wait any longer.

"Perfect finale"
I've been waiting what seems like forever for this finale and it did not disappoint. I will miss Daniel and Lucinda but the ending was PERFECT!
**SPOILER ALERT**
When Lucinda remembers that she was previously the lover for Lucifer. That was crazy!
I like books that surprise me, keep me interested and motivate me to do my chores while listening.
"I have no idea how I made it this far"
I wish I wouldn't have read this whole series. I don't think the main characters were extremely likable and I thought the writing was very elementary. Even in the last book, I wasn't sure who I wanted Luce to end up with.
"Story decent but reader is horrible"
The reader of this series almost made me give up on it altogether. I did not find her cadence, tone, or characterizations to add anything beneficial to the book.
"Guilty Pleasure"
That I had no idea what was going to happen and that the end was very satisfying and everything got answered.
All the demons - because they weren't bad they just didn't want to be one cult obsessed and worship blindly. They wanted to choose for themselves.
No
I did like Daniel I just got a bit sick of his do goodyness.
If you like fantasy you ill like this. It is very similar to Twilight series but in my opinion it finished better.
"Narration...or whining???"
The story is good. Interesting story, characters are likable.
Aweful narrator!! She sounded whiney, gruff and just annoying! It was like she tried to hard to change her own voice. Never a good idea to make the main character sound so horrible!
Maybe
"Best book in the series"
The ending when they meet for the last time.
luz
I found the her voice easy to listen too.

"So sad it is over!"
VERY HIGH! I love this series. I read the first book in this series and listened to the rest on audio. They are amazing on audio.
The characters
all of them
both :)
So sad to see a series end
"VERY good!"
MUST have read the OTHER books in order to be able to follow this book/story.
A little wordie, but in the end all needed to be said to explain the ending...
Really glad I listened to this one and found out how it all began/ended...
"Ehhh"
A better outcome at the end. It reminds me of Harry Potter, where the arthur killed a lot of the characters but of course in Rapture that didn't happen but it was sort of like that ending, I felt why did they have to die? and in Rapture.... Why did this happen (Not going to spoil ending)
What all the listeners been waiting for since the 1st book.... lol
Like I said the ending was very disappointing.
The overall book what pretty well done, it was better then Passion but I liked the ending of Passion a lot better.
"A great ending to an exciting series"
I loved the ending! It was perfect
I listened to The Fallen and loved it. Justine Eyre did a masterful job telling the story.
The ending. Throughout the series I wondered how it would come together. Lauren Kate wrote a perfect ending - in itself a new beginning. Her characters are amazing. I loved them all.
I can't wait for her next book. Luce is a strong young woman, smart, athletic, thoughtful, smart and able to stand on her own. Sometimes when the male characters are so charismatic the heroine is diminished. Luce was surrounded by gorgeous, charismatic angels and stood toe to toe with all of them.
