From H. P. Mallory - the exciting author of Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble - comes her new paranormal romance featuring the sassy, self-deprecating witch Jolie Wilkins.
Jolie thinks she’s seen it all, but life continues to spring surprises. The latest shocker? She’s just been crowned Queen of the Underworld. Jolie may possess a rare gift for reanimating the dead, but she doesn’t know the first thing about governing disparate factions of supernatural creatures. She can barely maintain order in her own chaotic personal life, which is heading into a romantic tailspin.
First there’s sexy warlock Rand, the love of her life, from whom Jolie is hiding a devastating secret. Then there’s Sinjin, a darkly seductive vampire and Jolie’s sworn protector - though others suspect he harbors ulterior motives. As the two polar opposite yet magnetic men vie for Jolie’s affection, she must keep her wits about her to balance affairs of state and affairs of her heart. Overwhelmed, under pressure, and longing for love, Jolie decides it’s time to take charge - and show everyone that this queen won’t take jack.

"Need to start with the first book"
This book is a good example of why you should start a series with the first book. The story is good but it would be much better and I would be more inclined to give it 5 stars if I had been able to start with the begining of the series. I would suggest to any one who has not read the first 2 books to hold off on buying this until Audible can get them added to their library.
Love fantasy books, usually with a strong female character. I also enjoyed just about anything from J.D Robb I am a fan of mysteries as well. I also enjoy funny and quirky novels anything from Molly Harper is a winner in my book. Since listening to audio books is important to me while I travel I also follow certain narrators as well.
"Better Kindle Read then an Audible Listen"
Some books are meant for print and others meant to be read aloud, this is not to be read aloud. It is not written in such a way that the narrator can bring life to the characters with making them look fake. I enjoy the author so I thought I would try to listen to the book instead of reading it, my mistake, I will only get these books in print going forward.
QUESTION : DOES LISTENING TO AUDIO BOOKS MAKE YOU SMARTER? If so, I'm. Freakin Genius!
"Kindle Bestseller, Goes Audio!"
I have read all the Kindle Books. Now, I find myself really enjoying the audio version too.
Rand. He is beautiful.
No. But she did a really good job.
If you are a fan of Molly Harper's Nice Girls Series, I would recommend this book.
Also, you don't have to read any of the other books. This book covers all of them. And I thought the author did a good job making this a stand alone story.
"JUST OK"
WAS NOT THAT IMPRESSED MADE MYSELF KEEP LISTENING THEN COULD NOT STOP LISTENING BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WOULD GET BETTER. I HAVE HEARD WORSE BUT LORD THE STORY LINE WAS LONG DRAWN OUT JUMPING BACK AND FORTH....... NOT FOR ME. THE COVER IS CUTE.
"Good Series"
I like this series but this book really spent a lot of time summarizing what the previous two books in the series covered. The first hour and a half of the book didn't really introduce anything new. A little background information is okay but you shouldn't have to spend the first hour and a half recaping what happened in the previous books.
Proud book worm!
"Okay Story"
If you are looking for a fluttery witch who is has a hard time making decisions. You might enjoy this.
Not one of Mallory's best. I
The Narrator did an awesome job bringing the char to life and the plot is good but the main char was too fluttery.
I wouldn't per-say cut any of them...I'd just make the main more solid.
"Can't wait for the next one!"
Great story! Had me laughing all the way! Reminds me of Molly Harper! Can't wait for the next book!
