    "Excellent!"

Another great story by Patricia Briggs. I had high hopes for this sequel to Cry Wolf, and am not disappointed. The plot twists and turns, and the fascinating relationship between Anna and Charles continues to evolve - never a dull moment!

Another excellent narration by Holter Graham as well - the unique voices and accents of the multiple characters are really brought to life.

    "If you like Mercy Thompson"
Would you consider the audio edition of Hunting Ground to be better than the print version?

    Never red print version

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hunting Ground?

Just kept moving and characters from the Mercy Thompson series step up

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Holter Graham is awesome and his voices and emotions are fantastic I can't imagine anyone else doing this series.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I ended up doing so, it is just Patricia Briggs at her best. I have read many of her books and they are all great. I don't think I can think of any I didn't enjoy

    Any additional comments?

When I look for books I look for certain authors, Patricia Briggs, Lois McMaster Bujold, Simon Green, Jim Butcher....These authors Always Promise great reading. I have read every book by these authors. Great authors of paranormal, and urban fantasy. There are many more along with Charlaine Harris,Ilona Andrews, JR Rain, JR Ward, Jeanine Frost, Kelly Armstrong, Kim Harrison For adventure and sword play try Joe Abecrombie,Larry Correia,Mike Carey, Just to name a few. All write series that I have found 5 or 6 star. The narrations are always fantastic. Sometimes one of these authors will write a short story or novella to be part of an anthology. That is a good way to find more authors of the same ilk. You won't love every story in an anthology, but there is a good chance you'll enjoy at least 75% and that is well worth the price.

    "Very entertaining"

I love urban love stories and books filled with supernatural creatures and this fit the bill on both. The reader was great and the trolls in the story caught my attention and imagination. Highly recommend this second in a series book, a cross over from the Mercy series.

    "KEEP THEM COMING!"
Would you listen to Hunting Ground again? Why?

i will probably listen to Hunting Ground two or three times boor, just due to the intensity of the characters and the way its written.

What did you like best about this story?

The way that "The Omega" is finally coming into her own.

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Holter Graham gives each character validity while continuing to make the story believable.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

In many places of this book I had to laugh because of the humer in the character actions. I could picture some of their action being so in place on a day to day existance.

    "Love this new Series"

This is Patricia Briggs second story in this series and I am really enjoying learning more about Charles and Anna, Bran and the rest of the wolf pack. I love Charles and Anna. The story is tightly written with a lot of action throughout it. I was pleasantly surprised to find two characters that I had listened to in "Strange Brew" a compilation of short stories. One of the stories was Patricia Briggs's "Seeing Eye" about a blind witch, Moira, and a man, Tom, who is a werewolf and a cop who she is trying to help find his brother who went missing while on a case. It was great to see these Characters again as they play a substantial role in "Hunting Ground" Book 2. Holter Graham did an amazing job once again as the narrator. A good narrator can make or break a aubile book and he makes it.
You might want to read the short story on Moria and Tom before reading Hunting Ground. It's available here on Audible.com as well.
    Love this series!

    "Great story"

I loves this book just as good as the first one. Patricia Briggs is a great writer. Highly recommend this story and the first book too. And if you like this story you should read her books with mercy thompson serise they are great too. My only little disapointment in this book was the reader did not do the same voice for charles that he used in the first book. Other wise I love his reading of this book he really brings this book alive. Hope you enjoy.

    "Werewolves are cuddly too!"
Where does Hunting Ground rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Well, it is in the top ten. I love the storyline and almost felt sorry for the vampires when they tangled with Charles....don't mess with a man/wolf's mate!

What other book might you compare Hunting Ground to and why?

I compare it to Alpha-Omega and to the Mercy Thompson series. The characters are the same in Alpha Omega and are interwoven with the wolves in the Mercy Thompson series. Hard not to put them all in the same category of 'excellent' storylines and character development. Of course, the author is responsible for these important aspects of a book. Patricia Briggs doesn't disappoint.

What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?

Yes. I liked Mr. Graham's performance. He has good inflection and you can tell that Charles is a Native American by the way he pronounces the words. Obviously Mr. Graham studied inflections.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Fur Flies When Wolves Mix With Vampires!

    Any additional comments?

I love all Patricia Briggs' books. I'm glad she is a prolific writer. I am not a patient reader and like to read all books in a series.

    "Another great book!"

I'm loving this series. Anna and Charles go to Seattle, run in to trouble and have great adventures along the way. Great 2nd book in the series. Still loving the relationship between Anna and Charles and the action plot was good as always. Briggs has another good series here. Highly recommended!

"Another Good Series from Patricia Briggs!"

I really liked all the 3 books in this series. Good writing & an interesting plot with lots of twists & turns. This series focus on the werewolves from the Montanna pack - primarily Charles & Anna Cornick. Charles is the enforcer for the North American wolves, a "Dirty Harry" type good guy, & his mate Anna, is an Omega wolf, which means she has a calming effect everyone she encounters. The author does a good job of keeping you guessing on the plot. The supernatural aspect fits perfectly into the storyline. If you've read the Mercy Thomson series these books pickup just before the werewolves become public. All 3 books build off each & other and I REALLY LIKED THE 3RD BOOK!. Definitely worth the credit!

I always try to comment ont the narrator because after 6 years of listening to audio books I've become picky about narrators. This narrator is okay. Not bad but it is difficult to distinguish his male voices. Many sounded the same & at times it was confusing. That said I'd still recommend the audio series.
