One dark night, under cover of a vicious storm, a helicopter lands on their mountain. The Sisters aren't about to wait to be ambushed. Braving the storm, they set out to greet their guests, only to be told by Charles that the mysterious visitors are the Sisterhood's new employers, and they've got a dangerous new assignment in mind.
The task they face is daunting. If they succeed, the Sisterhood will be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams. If they fail, they'll forfeit much more than a paycheck. But if the Ladies of Pinewood have learned one thing over the course of their adventures, it's that when friends band together, miracles can happen...

"Chaotic and erratic"
This was my first book by Fern Michaels and I am not tempted to read any other. The book starts interestingly enough but it soon becomes absurd, there is no real storyline, no thrill or mystery, no depth. No character is strongly constructed and the end is soooo absurd and simplistic!!!A true disappointment.
"Great Listen for Women"
I have listened to this series in order and keep ordering the next book. I have never been disappointed. I have never read the hard copy of any of the books. The narrator in this series is wonderful. Ahe is able to produce various voices for the characters and this gives the readers a picture of what each character is like.
"Weak storyline & all the guys sound like thugs"
The purpose of this book is simply to perpetuate the characters. It is pretty simplistic and naive. The reader does very well with SOME of the female characters and okay with others .. however, she makes each and every one of their male counterparts sound like 1950's NY bowry thugs, which is particularly poor when they are all supposedly well educated, trained and polished individuals. Instead of having a storyline the author gives us more and more and more about the women (Sisterhood). Thoroughly disappointing as I was hoping for a new series to bite into.
