Meanwhile, back in Never Land, a tribal war is under way, and while Peter is off fighting to save the world, a young Mollusk princess has no choice but to join forces with sinister pirates to save her island from the vicious Scorpions.
Peter and the Secret of Rundoon is a wild desert adventure - with flying camels, magic carpets, and evil shadows - that literally zooms toward an unforgettable and unimaginable climax. Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson have teamed together once again to pen a story with unrelenting action and adventure that can be enjoyed by listeners of all ages.
"Dale has the uncanny knack of knowing his characters; he presents each personality to us as an intimate acquaintance." (AudioFile)

hi, im bob!
"Peter and the Secret of Rundoon"
Another well written exciting story, fun for all ages.
"Love all the Peter and the Starcatcher books!"
I think Jim Dale is my favorite narrator. He is so wonderful to listen to and the stories of Peter, Molly, George, the boys, etc are so exciting it's difficult to stop the book to do other things.
"My Kids Loved the the Starcatchers Series!"
Hours of great listening! My kids (8 and 11) and I started listening to the adventures of Peter and the Starcatchers in the car. They became so hooked (no pun intended:o)they insisted we keep listening mornings at breakfast before school and when cleaning up after dinner. We really enjoyed each of these books and have moved on to the Never Land series. These books worked for me and now my kids love to use their imagination listening instead of watching movies in the car.
Our sincere appreciation to the very talented Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson for this gift, excellently narrated by my favorite Jim Dale.
Do your kids a favor, turn off the TV, turn off the video games and turn on their imagination by listening to a really good Audiobook.
"A voyage of discovery"
Just plain entertaining. I recommended it to a colleague at work for his teenage children. I'm enjoying different a genre since joining audible. It has broadened my horizons. Sail on captain!
Addicted to audio books.
"A wonderful finish to the series"
Yes, anyone with Kids 8 to 13 would enjoy this story and as an adult I could listen as well and enjoy the charaters.
I can think of no other voice, his intonation and speech pattern is perfect for the material
This was a great conclusion to the series, I wish there were more.
Immigration lawyer in Kansas City. I like Character driven dramas, fantasy (monsters, magic and witches oh my!) and coming of age stories. Favs include: The Book Thief, The Game of Throne series, Harry Potter Series, Dresden Files, Nightside series, anything by Neil Gaimen, 100 Years of Solitude.
"I love this book"
This is the 3rd book in this series and I just love it. I cannot wait to listen to the next book. They keep getting better and better. Jim Dale is a master narrator and gives each character a unique voice without seeming forced or contrived. The story itself is brilliant and this whole series really explores the classic characters of Peter Pan, The Darlings, the Mollusks, and even Captain Hook and Smee in a very charming and unexpected way. It really explores the back story of why Peter will never grow up, How they all came to be on the island and how it is no accident that it is the Darling's window Peter ends up in. Probably the best series I have read since Harry Potter.
"Another masterful work by Barry & Pearson"
The only problem with this book is that I know there is only one more in the series after this! I love this series, and I am truly saddened to know there is only one left. This piece of fiction is truly enjoyable, and if you have children, it is something you can experience together. Barry and Pearson have done an incredible job in creating a suspenseful novel that is truly engaging for adults, but appropriate to share with your children.
I felt the book started a little slowly, but the pace towards the end more than made up for it. This book is as good if not better than anything else you'd buy in any other fiction genre.
"Classic adventure"
This book is a continuation of the wonderful series by Barry and Pearson. The books are very well written and with lots of juicy twists and turns. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend this book. The narration by Jim Dale is of course, wonderul and brings the story and characters to life.
"not as good as the first two"
story was OK. I LOVE Jim Dale, so that is why it received three stars. I'd give him 10 stars if I could!
