After years of independence, Cameron has to learn to live with his brothers again, while he struggles with cooking, cleaning, and caring for a difficult boy. Old rivalries and new resentments flare between Cameron and his brothers, but they try to put aside their differences for Seth's sake.
In the end, a social worker, as tough as she is beautiful, will decide Seth's fate. She has the power to bring the Quinns together - or tear them apart...

"Family is all that matters"
Yes, I Would try another book from Nora Roberts and/or David Stuart; they were a good match.
Yes I would try another book from Nora Roberts. I liked her characters , they had personalities.
David Stauart made each character come to life, male an female
II would be first in line.
"Great descriptions of Maryland Eastern Shore"
The setting and the fit of the story with the Maryland Shore.
When Cal tells Anna that his father's bequest is his brother. Families are based on love not blood necessary.
The scenes between Cal and his father.
A family that stands together without one common gene.
Great series.
"Enjoyed this"
I liked the narrator, loved the storyline & the mystery surrounding the plot. I went out & got the next 3 in the series as soon as I finished this one!
"Very good read"
And then it ended. I was still reading and thought the story was still going to wind down and it was all gone! A lovely read, I just wanted it to carry on.
A lovely story of family (and men) pulling together. Can't wait for the 2nd one.
"captured by the series"
This was a great book that drew me into the series... it was enjoyed way too fast!
The Quinns are an interesting group of people and a clear picture that sometimes famlies are more than those born with your blood.
"Loved the series!"
Loved the sense of family loyalty, and how they all gathered to help keep Seth in the family!
Good family fun, strong determinations, romance, sailing, "you name it", it's there!
Great narration by David Stuart.
"Blood doesnt make a family"
One of the best
dedication of the main charaters
The assistant principle's office when all the Quins are there sticking up for Seth
When Cal realizes he's home..in his heart
"I'm becoming a Nora fan"
Nora Roberts seems to have a good formula for romantic stories, yet the plots are so different each time. It's similar to, yet different from, her other books.
I enjoyed this book and plan to look up others in the Chesapeake Bay series
"Nothing unique - very predictable."
If my friend likes light, predictable soap opera-esque books then, yes.
I have liked Nora Roberts' books in the past but feel I have outgrown them. This book offered nothing unique, thought provoking or educational.
It kept me entertained enough while painting my walls but wouldn't listen to it again.
