In his trademark high-energy style, acclaimed speaker and best-selling author Brian Tracy cuts to the core of what is vital to effective personal time management: decision, discipline, and determination. He reminds us: "The purpose of time-management skills, of eating that frog, and getting more done in less time, is to enable you to spend more 'face time' with the people you care about, doing the things that give you the greatest amount of joy in life."

"Not only procrastination"
Though the summary tells that the book is on "overcoming procrastination", it provides more than that. Centered to "procrastination", Brian Tracy summarizes all his productivity tips in 21 titles. It's my fifth audiobook of Tracy and this one also succeeded to bring me new ideas. I highly recommend it.
"Inspiring book to move you into action"
I just might be the worlds biggest procrastinator! But after listening to this book on my drives to work I find myself waking up in the morning thinking "what is the biggest frog I have to eat today?" (read the book ans you'll get it, frogs are tasks) It plants that seed in my mind all day and I find myself accomplishing my largest goals and therefore I'm less stressed and I get way more done! its such a simple concept and it works so well.
"Same old, same old"
If you have already read David Allen's Getting Things Done, then you will find very little new information. On top of that the content is not nearly as well organized as David Allen. However, if you are new to time management and need a kickstart, this may be a good starting point for you.
"Good message. Very repetative"
Here's two hours in a nutshell - prioritize your work on paper and do the hardest work with the most business value first... in other words, it your frog and it will change your life. Say it 16,846 different ways and you have Eat That Frog! In fairness, it really is a good message and there are some decent exercises to help you determine what work is the most valuable work (if you can endure the repetition).
"Excellent listen!"
This is a very good addition to anyone's personal motivation library. The author/narrator's style is easy to listen to, and the advice is sound and practical. Anyone who wants to make changes in their life can do so if they simply listen and take to heart the advice given. BUT, you have to want to change. There are no magic pills -- you have to do the work. The author gives solid, real-life advice to get past some of the biggest hurdles procrastinators put in their own way. I loved it, and by implementing many of his suggestions, I have improved my productivity and increased my free time.
"Useful and motivating time management book"
I enjoyed listening to "Eat That Frog". In less than three hours the author takes you through 21 tips/methods to improve your prioritization and efficiency. Many of these you may have heard before, as some of the best authors in this industry such as Covey and Seligman are quoted extensively. However, what is good about "Eat That Frog" is that all tips/methods are presented in a very actionable way. No way to hide! An original concept that is presented in this book is "Creative Procrastination", which is probably the one thing that appealed most to me. If you are looking for backgrounds and context on prioritization and time management, then listen to Covey's work. If you want some "fast tricks", give "Eat That Frog" a go!
"one new idea"
I thought the main new idea, to me, in this book was the concept of doing the thing that could make the biggest difference FIRST THING. All the other advice about planning was too much for me. I don't want my entire life planned out in advance. However if you, like me, are a procrastinator, try picking the thing that will make the most difference toward your goals each day and do it. I tend to do a bunch of easy, probably less productive things before I tackle the one I've been dreading. I didn't need to listen to the whole book to get the concept.
"Excellent Advice"
While I think that often Brian Tracy's advice targets people in the business field, it is no less relevant to anyone else. His advice is essentially, "how to be successful in life through not procrastinating." Then he gives you advice on how to stop procrastinating and how that will help you be successful in life. I think that this approach is superior than other books that simply tell you how to stop procrastinating, but don't emphasize how stopping procrastination will positively affect your life.
All in all, a great read.
"Eat That Frog! (Unabridged)"
This audio books has me torn between 5 star and 4 stars. This is the first time I have heard anything from Brian Tracy and it won't be the last- Very simple in nature and it combines a large number of helpful topic in an easy to remember format. I have listen to it have a dozen times and it still hasn't gotten old.
"Repeated Old Material"
This material has been repeated EXACTLY from previous programs by Brian Tracy for the last 25 years. There is NOTHING new here. You have to plan and set goals, Use the 80/20 rule, etc. It's getting ridiculous how this author keeps repackaging the same material and reselling it. If you have any of his other programs on business or personal development, save your money and pass this by.
