"The Original, Timeless Transsexual Autobiography"
Jorgensen was the first widely known person to have sex reassignment surgery (male to female). She became a spokesperson for transsexual and transgender people when "trans" wasn't even in the popular lexicon.
She was a beautiful blonde who was famous for being classy and smart— a lady with taste and talent, and had a successful career in theater and film.
If you have never heard of her, this book is a must. If you've heard of her but forgot her, revisit!1 of 1 people found this review helpful
