Publisher's Summary

Two worlds of wealth and passion call to Nora Sutherlin and, whichever one she chooses, it will be the hardest decision she will ever have to make. Unless someone makes it for her....

Wes Railey is the object of Nora's tamest yet most maddening fantasies, and the one man she can't forget. He's young. He's wonderful. He's also thoroughbred royalty and, reuniting with him in Kentucky, she's in his world now. But this infamous New York dominatrix is no simpering Southern belle, and Nora's dream of fitting into Wesley's world is perpetually at odds with the relentlessly seductive pull of Søren - her owner, her lover, the forever she cannot have. At least, not completely.

Meanwhile Nora's associate Kingsley Edge is only too happy to take her place at Søren's feet during her hiatus. Søren is the only man Kingsley has ever loved, and their dark, shared history has forged a bond that neither the years - nor Søren's love for Nora - can break. But a new threat from an old adversary is forcing Kingsley to confront the past, reminding him that he must keep his friends close, and his enemies closer.

    "Brilliant read, terrible listen..."
Would you listen to The Prince again? Why?

I would definitely read The Prince again but unless another narrator is found I wouldn't listen to it. Until Wesley's southern accent came about I was convinced my iPhone had Siri reading the book to me. Robin Rowan sounds like she has a computer generated voice and it's extremely irritating. I couldn't bring myself to finish the book. The tone is monotonous and everyone except Wesley has the same voice. She missed Kingsley's French accent and Soren's English accent. Half the time I couldn't tell who was talking to who. How on earth could Tiffany Reisz allow Robin to destroy her incredible book?!

What other book might you compare The Prince to and why?

It's difficult to compare this book to another. It seems you can either get an excellent plot or steamy sex scenes but never both. I've never seen a writer excel at both like Tiffany does. I guess you could compare her story telling skills to those of Diana Gabaldon's (although I think Diana is still superior) and the sex appeal to Sylvia Day.

What didn’t you like about Robin Rowan’s performance?

See above...I didn't like a single thing. I can't believe she's been in the business for 30 years.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I would have to say when Soren and Kingsley were cleaning the old cottage. I thought it was cute when Soren asked him to catch and release the wolf spiders instead of killing them.

    Any additional comments?

Buy the hard copy of this book, don't bother with the audio format. Unless of course you like monotony, zero inflection and the bastardization of the French language.

    "Oh dear lord.........."

I cannot believe that this book ended like this!!! I kept thinking that I had another part to download, but NOOOOOOOOO!!!

This book took on the darker edge as the first. The narrator was extremely good, however, I still loved the narrator of The Siren and really wish he was the one for all of them.

I really didn't expect this book to take on a "mystery" story line which was a new twist, however, I truly must have something wrong with me for I am still in love with Soren.

    "Love This Series"

I love this series. This story is terrific, though it has a HUGE cliffhanger at the end.

I'm not a huge fan of this narrator. She doesn't do a very good job at Soren's voice and he has a very large part in this book. The other voices are okay, but his really turned me off this narrator.

    Still exceptional book.

    "Very Well Done!"

The Prince has three story lines, past and present Soren & Kingsley, and Nora & Wesley in Kentucky. This book is a MUST read to anyone who has read the first two in the series.

"Great story enjoyed reading it not listening to it"
What disappointed you about The Prince?

The story was/is awesome. This was the first time I've ever read anything by this author but I will tell you I loved it. The story is original and passionate and funny but I hate the narrator in the audio books. Wesley is from Kentucky and they attempt a southern accent that turns around and make him sound down right stupid. I stopped listening to the book and instead opt to read the book instead for that very reason.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Prince?

Nora running after Soren asked her not to.The delivery of the baby. The beating of the baby and Nora's response

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I hate, hate, hate the accent given to Wesley. Wesley is educated and intelligent but the narrator make him sound like a poor country bumpkin. Narrator should have done her research on how educated southerns really sound before attempting to imitate.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I loved the book and would recommend it to any and everyone. It is much much better than Gabriel Inferno and I like it more than Bared To You. I would just suggest reading the book instead of listening to it.

    Any additional comments?

This book is original. I find that many of the other erotica books have tried to take on a 50 Shades of Gray type of story line but not the Original Sinners Series. You have the rich, powerful, good looking and educated - yes but then you have so much more. And please note, this book is erotica but not overly so. It has a very strong story and can stand alone with out the sex. Sex is the icing the story is the cake.

    "Unique Story terrible Narration"
What didn’t you like about Robin Rowan’s performance?

The story was unique and intriguing but the narrator sounded like a computer generated voice. It was difficult at times to understand what she was saying like the voice was sped up too quickly.

"Like Looking at a Gruesome Car Wreck - But Better"

Usually when a plot line is as over the top as this series by Tiffany Reisz, it is difficult to get your emotions committed. It may an entertaining or enjoyable read, but when characters are so far out of my definition of "believable" it is hard to empathize with them.

I can't imagine living the life of these characters. Maybe there are people out there that are this far out (and not just in their own imagination). But I found I could still relate to them. The emotions and angst that drove the behavior and actions of the characters was totally understandable, even if the characters themselves were not. That seems like a good definition of good character development.

The third book in the series delves much more into the history of Kingsley and Soren and they are both tragic characters on the scale of a Wagner opera. I might not believe these two characters could exist in the real world, but I kind of wish they did, and if they did, I would like to know them. It also spent more time on Wes, who to me is the weakest and least interesting of the group. He doesn't seem interesting enough to ever catch Nora's attention. But that is just a little quibble.

Her books aren't for the faint hearted or the squeamish, but Ms Reisz is a great story teller. She has a unique style that I thoroughly enjoy.
