Publisher's Summary

Not even his mother’s funeral can convince self-proclaimed party boy Zach Johnson to put aside his flamboyant ways or even think about settling down. He is who he is, and no one can make him change. But when he meets Aaron Paulson, his brother's best friend, Zach has to step back and re-evaluate his perceptions of love and family.

Aaron insists he’s falling for Zach, but Zach is certain Aaron sees him as just another project - one more lost soul for the idealistic Aaron to save. Zach isn't broken; he doesn't need to be fixed. Aaron’s insistent, though, and Zach finds himself tempted. Zach wants to believe in happily-ever-after, but can he let go of his pride long enough to see Aaron's heart?

"Love this series, One of my favorite of the Series"
Would you consider the audio edition of He Completes Me to be better than the print version?

Ok, I would probably listen to this last, because of the time line that is laid out in this one. For some reason it is the second. I literally laughed out loud in this book. The last hour when Zach goes to Aaron's hometown, I laughed through the whole scene with his parents. Funniest thing I have heard or read in a while. Most of the series has humor, sadness, anxiety and steamy scenes through the whole book. One of my favorite authors!! Paul Morey does a great job with the voices!

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Zach

What about Paul Morey’s performance did you like?

Did a great job with the voices, one of my favorite narrators

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me laugh, cry, and get a little anxious at times that there would not be a HEA

    Any additional comments?

    good series

    Story
"Audio porn for people who get off on domesticity"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. The characters are flat. They go into a list of things that could potentially affect their current lives but nothing ever does. Their biggest issues are the logistics of being together, where to live, how the money is delegated, what days are applicable for sex.

Aaron is so utterly one dimensional. He lives and exists for Zach. I cannot even fathom who Aaron is as a person without attributing some aspect of it to his lust for Zach.

I didn't expect this to be exactly meaningful or emotionally compelling, but the conflict was so minimal that nothing seemed important. Aaron's super human ability to love Zach and only Zach never becomes an issue which i imagine would for someone who has enjoyed a lifetime of uninhibited sex. Even Brian on Queer as Folk had to go through cancer in order to reach a heteronormative lifestyle with Justin. All Aaron had to do with sleep with Zach.

One of the biggest issues I have with this is the little acknowledgements to the audience Zach makes. Leave that to Zach Morris from Saved by the Bell. I would care more about your story if you didn't assume to know what I was thinking and respond in such a catty-pre-adolescent-oh-I'm-such-an-edgy-gay tone.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Something with substance.

What three words best describe Paul Morey’s voice?

    Awkward during sex

Do you think He Completes Me needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Absolutely not. Unless they break up and Aaron learns to not live completely for one person and Zach mellows out with his rebellious I'm here/queer get used to it attitude.

    Any additional comments?

I've read fan fiction better than this.
