Indian Hill: Indian Hill, Book 1

Despite predictability of the plot, I enjoyed it very much.

Interesting story of the alien invasion, vulnerability of the humanity and humanities darkest parts

Some people may compare it to Zombie Fallout and they will be totally right, the book is definitely written in the same style (gladiators and aliens instead of zombies and vampires) even annoying constant flashbacks.


Without any doubt I liked Indian Hill more than ZF I hope next book will be even better

I'm a HUGE Mark Tufo (and Mike Talbot) / Sean Runnette fan but after reading the Zombie Fallout series was a little hesitant to start Indian Hill. I was afraid it wouldn't be as good or I'd learn something about Mike's story that I didn't like. Boy was I wrong. As usual it was a great big pot (no pun intended) of humor, believable plot, interesting story and edge of your seat action. You could almost see it happening. It was nice to see Paul, Mike's childhood friend who is in the Zombie series, in a new light. He was much stronger in Indian Hill and much more of a leader. You was obvious why Mike and Paul were such good friends. With this "back story" I can fully appreciate their friendship. The only thing I would change would be the beginning - it was a little slow but man oh man did the middle/end make up for it. If you're debating on whether or not to use a credit on this book - don't........go now! I'm off to get part 2!

Anyone that hasn't listened to mark tufo's zombie fallout series i think may like this book.

I first got onto mark tufo through his zombie fallout series, after listening to that series it makes this book seem like a cheap knock off (even tho i think this book was written before zombie fallout,and both books use the same characters) I just couldnt get really into this book because some of the characters in this book are completely different to how I have grown to like them in the fallout series....

Not as good as his Zombie Fallout series even though it recycles some of the characters.
Interesting book that i found funny at times.
Not a zombie book for those wondering.
Worth the credit in my opinion.

Sean Runnette is the voice behind Mike Tallbot, and he does the job amazingly. Having listened to the Zombie Fallout series, nobody can possibly narrate Mike's journeys better than Sean.

After reading Zombie Fallout, I was concerned that this series would not live up to the former. After listening to Indian Hill book 1, I am hooked yet again by Mark Tufo's book. The story of Mike's Indian Hill adventure was very entertaining, and the descriptive way Tufo writes really paints an amazing picture of the world and allows us to truly imagine every aspect of the book.

*Spoiler alert* The escape scene was by far my favorite. It really show cases Mike's quick thinking, and in some cases pure luck. This scene more than any other gets me more into the story and I can't wait to start the next book.

* Another Spoiler * Honestly, nothing is more terrifying than man's inhumanity to man. As shown in this book, man's inhumanity to women could be even more brutal and disgusting. As someone who prides themselves as a gentleman, the scenes regarding the torture of the 'spoils' really got to me.

This book was fantastic. I encourage anyone on the fence about it to give it a try. If you like this book, don't stop until you've finished the series. After that, try Zombie Fallout, by Mike Tufo. This series is by far my favorite I have ever heard and his story telling is superb.

Love MIke Talbot - Love the Author, Narrator and the story :) - This story is a bit different than Zombie fallout - but I cant wait to see how (hope) this leads into the Mike Talbot Zombie fallout series

Indian Hill is Waaaaayyyyy up there on my favorites.

I bought it because I saw that Mike Talbot was the main character and Sean Runnette was the reader. LOVE them both

Someone else said thae Sean IS Mike Talbot and I couldn't agree more. He has captured Mike's personality perfectly. He also does female voices fairly well. So many men use lisps to use female voices but Sean just uses a softer higher pitch which is more to my liking.

The book held my interest from the beginning. When Mike Talbot had a reaction you can be sure that I had the same one. Anger, disgust, illness etc.

This is a prelude to the Zombie Fallout Series, and it is nothing short of amazing! The Zombie Fallout series was Horror with comedic relief and Indian Hill adds Sci Fi into the mix!

I couldn't finish it. It started out okay, but then it got worse and worse to the point that I didn't care how it ended. Sex and violence and unspeakable acts are just not for me.

I never read the printed book, I prefer audio when possible.

Well, Talbot is my favorite of course.

Yes, he's a great performer. His voice just seems to match the tone and story that Tufo writes

I laughed in parts and cringed in a few others. Mark Tufo has a way of dragging a response out of his readers.

I really enjoy Tufo's stories but I have to say that Indian Hill is just not as much of an attention grabber as his Zombie Fallout series is. Don't get me wrong, I think Indian Hill is a great story but he's got better series to read.
