"THANK YOU, THANK YOU LYNSAY"
Brilliant, as you would expect for LS, this is perhaps not my favourite Argeneau romance story, but it was still a great listen. It mainly focused on Paul and Jeanne Louise's battle to turn both Paul's dying daughter and Paul before it's too late for them both. It was also good to hear what's been happening to the other characters from previous books.
The only downside is that now I have to wait AGES for the next one in the series.
Worth a credit? Absolutely - but, if you haven't listened to the rest of the series then do yourself a favor and start at book 1 then work upwards.
hey :-) My name is Camilla
"Another good one from lynsay Sands"
I just finished this book, and it is another great book from Lynsay Sands.
It is definitely a good audiobook but if you didn't read the rest of the books in the series I would recommend that you start from the beginning.
"Another highly recommended"
Yes, another great chapter in this series.
None, this story is unique enough for me.
Hearing & feeling the emotions out loud.
Yes, both i laughed out loud & got teary eye because i felt for the characters.
Paul is wonderful and his sacrifices touches you in the heart, please listen to this story, won't be a disappoint.
"Another excellent book by Sands"
Paula does a fantastic job of reading the book. I enjoy listening her. I usually do not care for female readers but she is great.
I have all of the Argeneau novels on tape and have enjoyed all of them. Lynsey is able to keep the stories fresh, creative and still moving forward. Keep up the great work.
"Another great Argeneau novel"
I was over the moon when I saw this pop up on the audio list and even more so once I started listening to it. I have the entire series and often listen to my favourites again and again. I would recommend you start this series from the first Novel, although, having said that, I didn't. For some reason I listened to them out of order, and instead in the order of my interest. I soon discovered I love them all so I should have started from the first, this way you get to know the loveable characters and Argeneau family as you go.
So... if you like Romance with a dash of fantasy, if you enjoy a good laugh more often than not, if you appreciate a steamy love scene that gets you a little heated, if you crave a wee bit of drama and suspense... Gee I could keep going but why read this when you could be listening to this entertaining, addictive series?
Do yourself a favour and use your credit to purchase 'A Quick Bite' the first novel and before you know it you will be through the series listening to this last one on audio, hanging for the next.
"Love every part of this book!!!"
I loved the way the author developed the love story between the characters. This book reminded me of another book Vampire Interrupted. The book shows the ups and downs to relationships. Also, it had some old characters that I love hearing about.
I like the way the main characters meet immediately. Although he did kidnap her, there wasn't a build up to before they are together so the main focus was on the two of them and eventually other characters from previous books make their way into the story.
This book is one that once you start it, you don't want anything or anyone to distrub you.
"Typical SANDS"
I like almost anything she writes. She puts it all in her books.
Makes the listening easier
yes
Audiobooks are great tool in dealing with my ADHD. They limit distractions while listening and I don't have to sit still. PS. I can't spell
"(2 Geeks + Desperation) * Margarite Magic = WOW"
Even the socially inept need love but sometimes it takes a major felon to get them out of the lab. Great story with a few more, very welcome, twists than usual from Lynsay Sands. It quickly became one of my favourites in the Argeneau series. It was nice to see a more average than adonis male character for us male readers with a less than sculpted physique.
I wonder who the Argeneau Grand Dame will turn her match-making x-ray vision on next.
"Wonderful as always!"
One of the best by far.
When the child is dying.
When the child turns into a vampire.
Yup.
More like this please :)
"Always a winner"
At the top. I have allot of authors I love and read all there books. I have read all the other Argeneau vampire series and loved this book as much as the first in the series. Wouldn't hesitate to buy the next book in the series. I enjoy Lynsay Sands books so much I have pre booked her next book.
Christine Feehan, dark series.
Not sure I don't really take much notice of the narrator unless I hate them. Then I note down who it was and make sure I don't get any more books narrated by that person.
Yes,
