National best-selling author Rochelle Alers gets listeners’ hearts fluttering with this warm contemporary romance. Xavier Eaton is in Charleston, South Carolina, to start a new phase in his life, teaching at a military prep school. The last thing on this ex-Marine’s mind is settling down. But when he walks through the doors of the Sweet Persuasions pastry shop and sees owner Selena Yates, love, it seems, is all he can think about.

"Nice Story"
I've only listened to the audio book.
Not quite sure.
I really wished it would have been a male voice for the leading male and a female for the leading female character.
I was emotionally tied. I loved the story.
I wished the story was longer for Xavier and Selena and I wasn't so keen on what seems like to me an abrupt ending, however, I have the feeling that this will lead into another book featuring Kenyon and Mia.
I am a 49 year old, mother of 2, grandmother of 4 who has just decided to peel back my good girl, and let me bad girl out to play. I've been married for 26 years. It time to explore my inner bad girl. I just hope my husband can handle it.
"Another family to get into."
Yes, the "X" man is a wonderful person
The way that the two of them interacted with each other. You could tell right away they were into each other from the start
No
When he gave her his car and then went to sleep. That's what I call true TRUST.

not sure
I listen to audio books while commuting to and from work or cleaning the house. I enjoy reading other book reviews, and holding discussions with others over a book we both have read. I read slow so I've always hesitated on joining book clubs for fear of not keeping up with them.
"The Other Side of the Family"
I would recommend this book to my friends only after they have read
Don't remember too well
All the characters in this book have a specific purpose. I would not cut any character from this story
