Hand knitting and crochet are my hobbies in retirement, listening to books makes the time and the stitches fly by!
"Marvelous, Witty, and Unbelievable Destiny!"
I have read and listened to a great number of Amanda Quck's offerings, and this one is so different from the others that it was like a breath of fresh air. Not to say I don't enjoy all of her books, I do, but this one is so different! Yes, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good listen.
A comparison does not come to mind, this book takes all of the cliché of romance novels, and turns them into great entertainment. So I guess the whole thing is that there is no comparison in my library!
I have just recently listened to Wicked Widow by Amanda Quick also done by Ms Rosenblat. She is a marvelous reader, and lends more dimension to the characters of the book. I am looking forward to getting more of her readings in the near future.
Yes! I have a terrible time putting the iPod down and getting about other things when I start a book, and this one was no exception. It was marvelous!
The wit in this book was wonderful. The dissertation of the old butler on the scream in the laboratory had me giggling at odd moments for the rest of the day!
