The Delta Solution is an action-packed novel pitting Navy SEAL Mack Bedford (from Diamondhead and Intercept) against the Somali pirates operating off the southerly reaches of the lawless East African republic on the Indian Ocean. For the past three years, these heavily armed tribal brigands have been capturing and holding for ransom massive cargo ships, and violently demanding millions of dollars for their return. When the "Somali Marines" make a big mistake, seizing at gunpoint two United States ships and demanding a $15 million ransom for their return, hero Mack Bedford is deployed to obliterate them in the middle of the Indian Ocean, at all costs, once and for all.

"Not His Best . . But enjoyable"
Dwells overlong on the training and the invincibility of super humans. We all know by now the training process .
Mac Bedford's time has come . . . need a fresh character and plot
"Interesting pirate insight"
Great book if you're interested in the Pirate problems of this century. I recommend it for sure, but have the following complaints...
1. The book leads up to the last chapter, then ends very abruptly. Unlike other Robinson books, the military heroes in this book don't get much print in actual operations.
2. The narration wasn't bad, but the effort at making the military men sound "tough" diminished their characters to knuckle dragger types, rather than the superior men that they really are.
"A Great Look Inside Military Operations"
Patrick Robinson does an excellent job of taking us behind the scenes and into the workings of a special ops mission. Although fiction, there's enough fact to keep the story believable. Fast-paced action that has you riveted. Hooyah for the Navy SEALs!
"Only for George W. Bush fans"
If the novel was used as a novel and not a medium for bashing the current U.S. administration. I wish to read as a form of relaxation, in the mean time I do not wish to be infused with political ideas.
No
"Ninety Six Minutes"
I struggled though this whole book to get to the last 96 minutes where the action is! Intercept was a good book. This one doesnt even come close. The only praise I have for it is the narrator. He did a very good job with what he had to work with. Save your Credit
"Couldn't End Soon Enough"
Extremely boring, expected a book about Navy Seals to be action packed, from beginning to end. No such luck, took me at least 6 weeks to finish the book. Just didn't want to pick it up & be bored to death.
"boring"
The idea was good. Could have been great. Way, way too wordy with irrelevant fluff. Very little action in this action thriller. p.s. please leave your political views out of it. When I read I'm looking to relax and enjoy a good book, that's all. I've read all of your books. Hurry up and get back to the Nimitz Class glory days. Less words and political views, and more action.
"Pulp Fiction"
Every Seal a Superman. A plot that never would have left the Pentagon or White House.
