What would have made Exley better?If there was anything that held any meaning. Unless this is the authors own life experience, I didn't see any reason for this story other than anger

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?I liked the boy. I felt bad for him. I don't think this story could take place anywhere. The characters were wildly unrealistic and nuts. If it was science fiction that might have redeemed it slightly
