"My name is Megan Chase. In less than 24 hours, I'll be 17. Although, technically, I won't actually be turning 17. I've been in the Nevernever too long. When you're in Faery, you don't age. So while a year has passed in the real world, agewise I'm probably only a few days older than when I went in. In real life, I've changed so much I don't even recognize myself.
"I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.
"This time, there will be no turning back."

"From early on, the adrenaline rush starts, and doesn’t let up until the back cover is closed." (Teens Read Too)
"The Iron Queen"
The 3rd book in the Iron Fey series is super. I don't want to write a long review, but this is the kind of book that I ache when I stop reading it. I wish I could read it all the time. I can't wait until the Iron Knight comes out in Nov! Khristine Hvam does a fantastic job reading. Loved every bit of it!
"Great Writer and Narrator"
This one ( the third book ) was not as good as the first two because it was very predictable. However it was still good and I would recommend it. There was a very small amount of sexual verbiage but enough not to let a child read it. I would say it is mature level.
I have not read the novellas and probably will not. I may purchase the new novel that is from Ash's POV but I am not familiar with the narrator which can make or break an audiobook. If I can hear a sample and like it then I will buy it.
"Tween/Teen but good"
I really like the series and although I am not addicted as I was to Twilight, I am a follower of the series. It is a great story line, well developed characters, and it gets me out of my daily bore in to a world of fairy folk. Can't ask for more. Author is great. Narration is also very good.
"Young Adult book, very good"
I listenined to all 3, although I won't most likely re-listen, I did like the series, thought I DO THINK ITS MORE FOR THE 14-20 ages, its story is a love story, a story of change and adjustment and doing what must be done to save the lives of family and friends,,,
"The prediction we all made in book 1 comes true!"
I have listened to the entire Meghan Chase arc of the Iron Fey series including The Iron King, Winter's Passage, The Iron Daughter, The Iron Queen, Summer's Crossing, The Iron Knight, and Iron's Prophecy. I also plan to listen to the Ethan Chase arc beginning in The Lost Prince. I'm fairly certain that I'll listen to The Blood of Eden series by Julie Kagawa.
I don't know that I'd follow Khristine Hvam to any other novel, but Id be pleasantly surprised to find her reading another book that I listened to.
This is the same exact question as above, Audible.
I liked that she had distinct voices for all the characters that made a dialogue very easy to follow while listening to it.
The Iron Queen seemed to pass fairly quickly. I listened while at work and enjoyed the story while still being able to focus on work. It's a fun and light book.
More Ash and Meghan romangst. If you love it, you'll love this book.
"Perfect Performance and Story"
Hvam's performance is a wonderful listen and adds a richness to the Iron Fey series.
I really enjoy Khristine Hvam and will not hesitate to purchase any book that she performs.
"Long live the queen"
Meghan becoming the Iron Queen.
Grimalkin.
Meghan's reunion with her dad was nice. I did not like how Puck's secret about his involvement with Meghan's dad was relieved.
For as much as I read and listen you would think by now that I would know how to spell lol. I read at least 5 books a week there are times I have gotten up to 10 in a week.
"RAZOR!!!!!"
Finally this author has came in to her own. The first 2 books in this series you could see that she must of been a new author trying to find her way and she finally found it when it came to this book!
I absolutely loved this one in the series. I did not struggle with it at all as I did with the previous books. I think she finally found her balance with her targeted audience and well.....just everything finally seem to of came together in her writing this time.
Loved the action, the new faces ( Razor) such a loveable lil guy. The twist and turns...some you see coming others you do not. I do not want to say too much and spoil it so I will just say This one makes up for any struggles or issues you MAY of had with the first books in this series and DO NOT STOP now!
I am just happy that I did not give up on this series and have already started the next book.
"Exellent"
I loved it. The 3rd book in the series takes the characters to new and twisting adventures as they follow their paths in life.
"Helps you escape the real world"
The book has a very twisting and intricate plot with many interesting characters. You seem to go off into another world with different rules of society entirely.
